I like how the baby tuned everybody out. She only briefly acknowledged the commotion when her chair started moving… but even that was brief. Must have been a suspense scene in the cartoon. ‘Let me get closer to the screen so I don’t miss what happens next’
I guess times have changed. As a kid in the 50s and 60s dads didn't have a connection with their kids like they do now. I never shared a moment even remotely like this with him. Kids were just left up to the mom to deal with.
