@@mubeenapeerzade5662 band gap is not an energy level. It is the difference between two energy levels- top of the valence band and bottom of the conduction band. So in short band gap is the gap between conduction band and valence band. And Fermi level in semiconductors is a special level that lies at the centre of gravity position when electrons in the conduction band and holes in the valence band are weighed according to their energies. This fermi level in semiconductor may lie inside the conduction band, between the conduction band and valence band or inside the valence band depending on the type of semiconductor and impurity concentration and type of impurity.
