Your costume looks like it could actually be used in one of the movies.
The "unfortunately not" response to "Is your cosplay homemade?" Broke my heart 🥺 there's such a big pressure in the cosplay community to make every single thing from scratch. It's like there's an expected shame if you didn't spool wool and crush the dyes, and there shouldn't be. Cosplay is cosplay, whether store bought, homemade or inbetween.
Honestly the soul two reasons I never committed to my cosplays was due to being unable to make things the way I wanted them to look unless I just bought them, and me being fat. Fat cosplayers are bullied and so are people who don't make their own works. So I would get the double whammy.
I would say it requires more knowledge and skill than talent to design the helmet for 3d printing. Which makes it more impressive in my eyes, because knowledge and skill is gained through hard work while talent is something you either already have or you don't.
Sometimes people can download files for the printed model from a database, but I don't think that's the case for her helmet The character she chose is really rare and special Also, the paint job is very good

This made me so nervous for the cosplayers when the people guessing handled their outfits. I know they made those from hand and spent so much time on it.
As a cosplayer I don’t know how they do it my cosplays are like my children taking hours to find all the parts, style the wigs, etc. I would be so scared to let a stranger handle them 😭
Well I’m sure they knew their outfits could end up in a stranger’s hands and didn’t care about it, knowing the rest were cosplayers too and would know the hard work they take to make.

The oikawa cosplayer’s reason for cosplaying haikyuu is exactly the same as mine😭 it’s great finally being able to dress up as characters I saw as a kid and wanted to emulate so long ago! Also most I noticed haikyuu/aot cosplayers seem to be that type of “I saw this in 2016 and still am doing and enjoying it to this day” it’s really cool!

I feel like he becomes cooler with each appearance in Cut. He was at match the name, painting his partner while naked and now he's also a geek? I'm hispanic, and I did one year Marty McFly from Back to the future. Nobody got it. Next year I did Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite and everyone thought it was great... I was proud of the second costume, but I wish you skin color, sex, and/or body type wasn't an impediment to do cosplay
No one got Marty McFly? Great Scott 😳. What is this world coming to? Anyway I don't do cosplay, however I have done a fair amount of Halloween costumes... Bob Ross Maui (from Moana) Toph (Avatar) Rosie the Riveter Flynn Rider (Tangled) ...To name a few. As you can see these "characters" definitely aren't all the same sex, nor race or body shape, but it didn't stop me from having fun, and people got it despite me not looking like a single one of these characters out of costume. IThe people who didn't get Mcfly are just uncultured.

This is the first time I've guessed 100% correctly on one of these It's so easy to tell which kinda people cosplays as Haikyuu characters, and which clothes went with which body (i.e. tall boots for the tall girl, etc.)
I think it's very admirable how much he was inspired by the character of Batman so much so that he helps out kids meeting their heros. He really does feel like he has a hero backstory lol.

The oikawa cosplayer’s reason for cosplaying haikyuu is exactly the same as mine😭 it’s great finally being able to dress up as characters I saw as a kid and wanted to emulate so long ago! Also most I noticed haikyuu/aot cosplayers seem to be that type of “I saw this in 2016 and still am doing and enjoying it to this day” it’s really cool!

I'm hispanic, and I did one year Marty McFly from Back to the future. Nobody got it. Next year I did Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite and everyone thought it was great... I was proud of the second costume, but I wish you skin color, sex, and/or body type wasn't an impediment to do cosplay

As you can see these "characters" definitely aren't all the same sex, nor race or body shape, but it didn't stop me from having fun, and people got it despite me not looking like a single one of these characters out of costume.

It's so easy to tell which kinda people cosplays as Haikyuu characters, and which clothes went with which body (i.e. tall boots for the tall girl, etc.)
I think it's very admirable how much he was inspired by the character of Batman so much so that he helps out kids meeting their heros. He really does feel like he has a hero backstory lol.
