Something I really love about your videos more than most other channels is that you have ALWAYS stayed true to yourself. Stayed true to your style and you can genuinely tell that you love the songs you’re playing. I do the exact same thing in my covers and I don’t know if you remember this, but I met you at last years NAMM show and I will never forget the advice you told me in regard to what I should do as a small channel moving forward. You said, “I just posted my 700th plus video recently and it’s been a long journey. Don’t get discouraged and your time will come.” I gave you my business card and you gave me a high five and that statement stuck with me even until today to where my channel is finally growing. THANK YOU for inspiring me and the rest of the drum community and your authenticity and kindness is what really sets you apart🥁
@@samh4904 Its sort of like an undigestable amount of nostalgia and regret that like even from the Offsprings point of view like you end up making it big and good stuff happens to you but you look back at all the people you grew up with and see the chaos and devastation and its just like how did i not see it than and man i wish i couldve helped or done more or something. makes me wanna tear up but thats what i love about music it shows i still have a heart.

I tried to copy your playing, but I had to stop when my wife threw my drums outside. Well, it wasn't a drum set exactly, it was just her pots & pans and some metal lids, but she said I'm not any good and that 3am is not an acceptable time to practice. Any ideas?

As one who absolutely loves this kind of music but is absolutely talenteless himself to make musik himself I want to say you are absolutely blessed. I envy people like you playing drums, guitare, base ... to cover the songs I (and you I guess) love, to give it your own stamp. If I regrett one thing in live, that I dont have the talent and the patience to learn an instrument myself to play it.
