No nation can develop unless It's own native languages are made official language. Pakistanis have rejected their own native languages of Punjabi,Sindhi , Kashmiri,Pashto and Balochi but accepted the language of UP/Bihar Muslims i.e Urdu. The language was not the first issue. Lack of equal rights between East and west PK and the economic, political, discrimination which was going on for a long time were the main issues. Protest about Language is the first biggest protest and from that time we the people of Bangladesh(East PK at that time) were becoming more and more aware of our own rights. We also started to realize that Pakistan does not care and will never care about our rights. So there was no other option besides gaining independence for the goodness of our own people.

The language was not the first issue. Lack of equal rights between East and west PK and the economic, political, discrimination which was going on for a long time were the main issues. Protest about Language is the first biggest protest and from that time we the people of Bangladesh(East PK at that time) were becoming more and more aware of our own rights. We also started to realize that Pakistan does not care and will never care about our rights. So there was no other option besides gaining independence for the goodness of our own people.
