This is my 2024 Suziki VStrom 800DE with all the mods on it i will ever need. I've gone overboard a little but i will be keeping this bike for many years, so I thought i'd spoil myself. Hope you all enjoy.
@@kensbikestuff I am really looking forward to your next trip. Thanks for all of your content over the years. Your videos are always awesome. I have been following you on YT since your first KLR. I heard you mention Jonas from Lismore might be keen to join you on your next adventure. That would be great to see. Jonas (if it's the same fella I am thinking it is) was also a great TH-camr. It was sad to see him give it away several years ago.
It’s good to hv… especially when u r having a long straight road ahead..I fixed mine. About an hr job. Easy plug and play. Just be careful when taking out the fuel tank.
Tried to take sc project baffle out drilled out rivet and do you think the bloody thing will come out it tapped in about 2 mm I drilled a hole in centre tube Tried heating out side pulled slip on off put under wood vice used a s shape hook and mate gave me a hand to try leaving it out it's like it's welded in even use a crayon to try feeing it up so iv rode all day yesterday and it can fall out but it won't I just want to have a bit more bark to clear the wallaby's out bush and my motoz ralz rear is harf worn in about 1000kms front is like new but gravel and hard rock Batemans Bay and up around Clyde Mountain and cross the to end of river to the beaches A mode rest off faning it past brothers klr he picked up till he sells more bikes for world raid and I think that's what il end up trading in the vstrom 800de for its just a tank of a thing to on off on the power nothing and then ballistic rocket when my bro was rolling along at a fast pace on the klr650 wish I still had the xr650r with full staintune system was best of the lot but world raid is more appealing to me now hopefully suzuki will make a DR x Vstrom 550 or something that's not so big and heavy
Hi mate. I got it from Ali express. It is good quality. Ken. maybe look at buying a windshield extension. I had one on my KLR and it was a game changer. Ken
Hi Paul. The suspension seems ok. Im not fully loaded in this video so im not sure. However it does handle the bumps pretty good. Quick shift is a game changer. Id never buy another bike unless it had quick shift. Its fun, and makes riding lots safer. Ken
Hi, Yes its from AliExpress. Its not bad but it is noisier than my last 2 bikes. However ive looked at the shape of other windshields and they all look the same.Ken

That's a bike that looks like it means business.. how do you find the suspension on it, better than the last 2? Do you use the quick shifter much.

Hello Ken. Is this windshield from AliExpress? Does wind hit the sides of the helmet at cruising speed? I’m 1.71m tall.
