Love how they shot the video from the point of view of a spectator moving through the crowd trying to get a better view. On the rise, both great dancers. If you notice, the closer the camera is zoomed in, the stronger you can see Bluprint's animation. Zoomed farther away, you feel the energy of Skitzo's usage of space. Each zoom caters to the dancer's strengths.
Personally Skitzo impressed me more in this battle - he came out with some sick musicality, creativity and overall diversity. Blu was crazy though, his tutting concepts and body control are incredible to watch. Even though this battle was done at 3am, the level of talent from both dancers was clear to see.

Bluprint's body control and tutting is godlike, but when the other dancers add less stationary styles (in this case, jookin) it's hard to beat them because 'big' movements are pleasing to the eye, this is why in alot of all style tournaments hiphop dancers win in most cases imo
Yeah, but it is in the dancer's ability to recognize this things and use better what the opponent is lacking, Skitzo did it perfectly in my opinion (more ground level, better use of space, better integration of musicality), and something similar did Waydi when he crushed (honestly) bluprint, which was pointing out all the details Bluprint missed in the song without showing less technique
The only thing that makes me dislike Bluprint are his fans who think that he is godlike...Dude be real and say that he must (MUST) move and not dance like he has his legs paralyzed...I put more effort and energy in buying groceries than he puts in dancing
I know you're not downplaying Skitzo but people like Khabib are downplaying Bluprint for the exact point you made; big moves look better especially for people who aren't experienced dancers themselves. In other words if you can't notice 90% of what Bluprint is doing then you will only see 10% of what he really did. Funny enough in martial arts TV, especially ones like Power Rangers with younger audiences they choreograph circular kicks and attacks cause they are easier to keep up with even if they may not technically be as good as straight attacks.

I can agree with you 100%. Skitzo is much more expressive when he dances , Bluprint is much more to himself which works for his style but for battles not so much. All he would need to do is mix in his older style in with his new style , his new style contains a lot more control and he's more to himself with his movements. They are both amazing dancers and I would love to see more from them.

If Skitzo came in the last round with the same fire as the previous round he would've been the clear winner. The can definitely learn from each other as dancers. Brilliant!

Depends on the song and dancer's familiarity with the song. If you don't understand the importance of song choice then you don't understand dance at all. If they were dancing to classical music for instance I would pick a ballet dance before I picked Skitzo or Bluprint.
