Personally Skitzo impressed me more in this battle - he came out with some sick musicality, creativity and overall diversity. Blu was crazy though, his tutting concepts and body control are incredible to watch. Even though this battle was done at 3am, the level of talent from both dancers was clear to see.
How you know this was at 3am?
Each capitalized on both their strengths and weaknesses. They both have much respect for each other. I could sense that toward the end they knew that the other possessed a different style yet they knew they were very evenly matched. They are both winners in my book. Blu's tutting may have been on blaze but so was Skitzo's musicality. They are 2 kings.
Love how they shot the video from the point of view of a spectator moving through the crowd trying to get a better view.
On the rise, both great dancers. If you notice, the closer the camera is zoomed in, the stronger you can see Bluprint's animation. Zoomed farther away, you feel the energy of Skitzo's usage of space. Each zoom caters to the dancer's strengths.
Is it me or could both of them be a great duo? Both amazing dancers, humorous, and enjoy dancing. Respect to both they put on one heck of a show.
Bluprint's body control and tutting is godlike, but when the other dancers add less stationary styles (in this case, jookin) it's hard to beat them because 'big' movements are pleasing to the eye, this is why in alot of all style tournaments hiphop dancers win in most cases imo

Yeah, but it is in the dancer's ability to recognize this things and use better what the opponent is lacking, Skitzo did it perfectly in my opinion (more ground level, better use of space, better integration of musicality), and something similar did Waydi when he crushed (honestly) bluprint, which was pointing out all the details Bluprint missed in the song without showing less technique
The only thing that makes me dislike Bluprint are his fans who think that he is godlike...Dude be real and say that he must (MUST) move and not dance like he has his legs paralyzed...I put more effort and energy in buying groceries than he puts in dancing

I know you're not downplaying Skitzo but people like Khabib are downplaying Bluprint for the exact point you made; big moves look better especially for people who aren't experienced dancers themselves. In other words if you can't notice 90% of what Bluprint is doing then you will only see 10% of what he really did.
Funny enough in martial arts TV, especially ones like Power Rangers with younger audiences they choreograph circular kicks and attacks cause they are easier to keep up with even if they may not technically be as good as straight attacks.
Skitzo's level of musicality is godlike. He's an extraterrestrial lifeform that came to bless us with his otherworldly skills
I can't decide but what I do know is these dancers were not battling to put each other down but instead to test each other skill. This is a battle where both dancers clearly respect each other. Thank you guys for showing class. This is a real battle.

What makes Skitzo so sick is he paint pictures and tell stories when he battle and dances. His story fits the music perfectly! Secondly, if he goes 2nd in battle, he feeds off of ur energy and go ham! Make him go first and u might get a tamer Skitzo lol

I feel Skitzo has better musicality and more apperent battle experience than Blu. Although Blu's tutting is unreal he still to stationary for me and i feel he needs to bring back some of his old style i personally like more. That being said i thought Skitzo won. No Shame in Greats losing to Greats its all just fun and experience. #RawDragonsByNature
I can agree with you 100%. Skitzo is much more expressive when he dances , Bluprint is much more to himself which works for his style but for battles not so much. All he would need to do is mix in his older style in with his new style , his new style contains a lot more control and he's more to himself with his movements. They are both amazing dancers and I would love to see more from them.

Great battle nonetheless! I wish I could have stayed for this but I had a nice 16 hour trip back home to make XD The event was too dope! Happy to have finally seen atlanta dance culture since i started this dance life. The energy there is refreshing lol

Eitherway, none of them disappointed! If I could change 1 thing it would be a better 2nd song,
other than doing pretty much what Skitzo did it's really hard for anyone to go ham on it.
Just so you know the event was scheduled for 22:00 but the battle didn't start till like 3:30 cause there were delays and they still brought the heat, thanks for doing it for the culture!

No excuses here Skitzo easily dismantled Bluprint when it comes to dancing it was not even close ! If Waydi vs Bluprint had no judges people would think it was a draw,nah not really a lot of people just can't handle the truth Bluprint is nowhere near Skitzos level and I wish that they meet in a battle at Fusion Concept this year so Skitzo can send him to retirement

Interesting. Two different dance styles. Both were phenomenal. To be fair. I appreciated both. Would not be able to judge because the skill levels were phenomenal. With an eye for movement, I loved them both. Also they seemed to acknowledge the skills of each other with grace.

I would say that this battle went to skitzo, but they were amazing. I am much more biased towards blu but I felt that the execution that skitzo had was phenomenal. This was a great matchup and really enjoyable.

Nah, Blu got the first round. Skitzo the second. The 3rd round they were equally not on point but Bluprint did slightly better in the 3rd round. If Skitzo came in the last round with the same fire as the previous round he would've been the clear winner. The can definitely learn from each other as dancers. Brilliant!
