Thanks for posting this as my group "Crafting Angels" is collecting 6" squares to make lapghans for a nursing home in Vegas. I think if we wrap 15 pegs it will make a 6" square. Guessing here... :)
because thats what that stich does on that loom. try to use the rectangle loom and it won't curl up at all, but i would do a different stich a double sided stich.Hope that helped u out.
12 pegs to make a 5” square. For rows, use a measuring tape to measure 5” from your first row. It depends on what kind of yarn to determine number of rows.
Thank you! Great tutorial for knitting a flat piece :-)
thank you for sharing.I have made alot of dishcloths,by using this method.
I love this and that it isn't as complicated as the one made for scarfs and panels.

Two strands of yarn keeps the knit tighter. One strand will make a looser stitch.
Good luck with your lapghans Beverly. I think your peg guess is likely correct. Thanks for the comment. :)

Nice !
@starnstv I guess instead of stopping to make a square, you continue till you have the length you want for a scarf
What do you use the 5 in square for? Do you sew them together to make a blanket? Thanks

Great show product first. I had to go.

the first and last loops are tricky, I still do not get it how to do them, they do not look correct when I do it
