A big, big factor in why Miku has had so much success in concerts is that she can act the part of a shy, innocent, naive, pure virginal perfect unblemished girl, hence not drag up any shipping or think-of-the-children issues. With VanaN'ice, there's absolutely no denying the fact that two adult men are hititing on a 14-year-old girl (played by a 14-year-old boy, no less), not to mention that the songs _regularly_ mention stuff like blood and darkness and falling. Not exactly a formula for mainstream success. 2. Miku has an ENORMOUS library of songs to choose from, giving the producers plenty of leeway in making the songlist. For VanaN'ice, there's just the one producer and not a great deal of material. Furthermore, it's all visual kei, giving no leeway for tone or style changes. At most I could see VanaN'ice as part of a bigger variety show-style event, and even then I wouldn't expect it to be very big.
