I loved Batman as a kid. Now as an adult with kids of my own I have reflected on why I've felt a connection to this character. He does what's right even when nobody is watching. He stands up in the face of evil despite the path being lonely and desolate. He is relentless in his pursuit of good. He is not perfect, yet it's his imperfections that make him relatable and human. Even when he's vilified he stays the course. He transmutes his darkness into doing good for people that he doesn't even know. He makes mistakes and learns from them and doesn't let his past deter him from the future. He is ruthless in his pursuit of conquering evil. He has no super powers beyond sheer will and determination. He is merely a man trying to shine a light in the darkness. Be like Batman.
Plus he has zero reason to do what he does. Fighting for hope in a city without hope, sticking to principles against foes without it and no hope of ever getting one. The darkness he is fighting is severe but yet is still relentless and fighting on for a better tomorrow. Never give up.

Out of all the superheroes, with Spider-Man probably being the closest, Batman is someone who really feels grounded with our reality. A human like me and you, enraged with the state of corruption, and determined to make the area around him a safer place. We don't need to be billionaires or physically enhanced to make a difference in this world. Sometimes all you need to do is have the courage and passion to do what is right. I believe there is a Hero in all of us, that fuels us with integrity, keeps us morally stable, makes us confident, and finally drives us to act when the moment is right. Even though sometimes we have to stand out from the rest and risk being misunderstood. A life is saved, a path is paved, and a difference is made. That is all that matters.
I listen to this everyday, it helps with my my mental health and trauma, I have no family and very few friends and the people close to me hurt me , there's alot of darkness inside of me and all I want to do is destroy the evil in this world, it makes me so angry how people can be, the way the world is, I wish I had the power to change the world and make it a better and safer place. ❤️

If you truelly think of it , batman is the most inspiring super-hero of all time. He is a normal person with resources but rather becoming a villain due to the tragedy he suffered , he trained his body and mind and learned everything ( martial arts , escapology , criminal psychology , forensic science , chemistry) he needed to make sure no one suffers the same fate. You're right that compared to an actual normal person, Bruce Wayne is the pinnacle of human potential. Batman is my favorite hero. Not because he can fight without powers, or that he is stupidly rich, or that he has sacrificed everything for his work; it's because he never gives up, he always saves as many as he can no matter who or what they have done, when he started i do believe it was for himself but then he changed and saw everybody who was hurt and suffering in ways he hadn't imagined, and now he lives for them . He does not want anyone's admiration or approval, he wants a better life for everyone. And he would pass in silence, no witnesses to his crusade's conclusion. But the Spirit of Gotham would go on in those he helped, befriended, saved, trained, and raised.

you out there suffering right this minute and every second of this suffering as you shed tears for your pain and sorrows for whatever reason it could be family, chronic illness, work or anything else, may you approach peace and calmness to your soul in the next minute. No one else understands the type of pain you are feeling unless the same pain is being experienced by others. life is about inevitable suffering and there is nothing that can be done about it. The brain loves to drown in mystery and negative thoughts but there is no one else coming to save us no matter the level of support we have available. At the end of the day, we have to get up from falls and dust ourselves and keep moving. force the positive voice into the brain no matter the resistance, no matter the level of negativity, no matter what is going on because people can only extend their helping hand to you and only you can reach for that hand to help yourself.

That's the thing that makes Batman the best hero. Duality. With so many other heroes, you just EXPECT them to BE a comforting presence. But with Batman, there's an intimidation factor thrown in. Mostly due to how he operates and uses psychological warfare; this is where the cape comes in. And yet, there are many instances in the comics and films, and animated shows, where Batman of all people, is the one to just....sit with you. He won't judge, he won't offer unsolicited advice like other heroes would try to do. He'll just...be there. Be your shadow. That's why he's my favorite hero. He's there for you when no one else is.

Batman is my favorite superhero. The reason why is why so many people look at Superman, he inspires hope. But for me, it's the fact, Batman is the beacon of hope in an otherwise, very dark, corrupt place, and he's a one man army, fighting. Fighting to help Gotham, knowing it might not amount to anything, but he's gotta try. And I have always liked that about Batman, he just doesn't give up and is a symbol of hope to the people of Gotham. Almost 10 years ago now, which, wow, holy shit, almost 10 years ago, I had to have brain surgeries. And I almost died. And it felt like, I was never, never gonna recover. I'm not gonna lie, I get nightmares from that time. But what pushed me thru that time of my life was this one thought. Batman never gives up, even when he's hurting, he still gets up, and tries to fight. And the character of Batman and what he stands for, helped me thru that time. The way he wouldn't just give up, he'd do whatever it takes to get better, it helped me.

I fall asleep to this almost every night. I changed my whole life, I’ve lost 46 kg now, I started pursuing more. I lost my father at the end of last year. My whole life is different. Batman’s story and whole ambience is very soothing for me and being able to fall asleep to this every night since I lost my father has inevitably pushed me even further …. Allowed me to deep reflect… find peace… find hope… I’m truly grateful that this exists……

this song is strange...both uplifting, but also full of isolation and pain at the same time. triumphant and sad. perfectly encapsulating the character himself. i can feel his love for andrea, and also the pain of what they lost. the despair he felt that night in the alley, but also his resolute drive to fight that evil so some other kid doesnt have to go through what he did. his inner conflict between wanting to kill joker for what he did to jason, and trying to hold onto who he is. his never ending battle until he became too old to be batman, left with nothing...a bitter old man with no one around him. but also his eternal hope for humanity he sees personified in superman, an alien. you can feel him, staring into the abyss, refusing to blink.
Perfect analogy... Just Perfect. Hans Zimmer created the whole genre of The Dark Knight Soundtrack to match the emotions of Bruce's life. Every single moment of it. The bad. The good. Zimmer's choice of instruments, the dissonances, and his valiant chord progressions didnt just match what the audience was watching on the screen. It matched what the Batman felt.. all the time.. at once. Incredible.
Tomorrow is a big day... I will tell her how I feel about her. I meditated and thought well and I want to be with her for the rest of my life even if she is older. ❤

I listen to this everyday, it helps with my my mental health and trauma, I have no family and very few friends and the people close to me hurt me , there's alot of darkness inside of me and all I want to do is destroy the evil in this world, it makes me so angry how people can be, the way the world is, I wish I had the power to change the world and make it a better and safer place. ❤️

Man it is such a blessing finding videos and songs like these that let one process a little bit of emotion in a brutal world that you have to be strong in. That's the thing that makes Batman the best hero. Duality. With so many other heroes, you just EXPECT them to BE a comforting presence. But with Batman, there's an intimidation factor thrown in. Mostly due to how he operates and uses psychological warfare; this is where the cape comes in. And yet, there are many instances in the comics and films, and animated shows, where Batman of all people, is the one to just....sit with you. He won't judge, he won't offer unsolicited advice like other heroes would try to do. He'll just...be there.
Be your shadow. That's why he's my favorite hero. He's there for you when no one else is.

Batman is my favorite superhero. The reason why is why so many people look at Superman, he inspires hope. But for me, it's the fact, Batman is the beacon of hope in an otherwise, very dark, corrupt place, and he's a one man army, fighting. Fighting to help Gotham, knowing it might not amount to anything, but he's gotta try. And I have always liked that about Batman, he just doesn't give up and is a symbol of hope to the people of Gotham.
Almost 10 years ago now, which, wow, holy shit, almost 10 years ago, I had to have brain surgeries. And I almost died. And it felt like, I was never, never gonna recover. I'm not gonna lie, I get nightmares from that time. But what pushed me thru that time of my life was this one thought. Batman never gives up, even when he's hurting, he still gets up, and tries to fight. And the character of Batman and what he stands for, helped me thru that time. The way he wouldn't just give up, he'd do whatever it takes to get better, it helped me.

I fall asleep to this almost every night. I changed my whole life, I’ve lost 46 kg now, I started pursuing more. I lost my father at the end of last year. My whole life is different. Batman’s story and whole ambience is very soothing for me and being able to fall asleep to this every night since I lost my father has inevitably pushed me even further …. this song is strange...both uplifting, but also full of isolation and pain at the same time. triumphant and sad. perfectly encapsulating the character himself. i can feel his love for andrea, and also the pain of what they lost. the despair he felt that night in the alley, but also his resolute drive to fight that evil so some other kid doesnt have to go through what he did. his inner conflict between wanting to kill joker for what he did to jason, and trying to hold onto who he is. his never ending battle until he became too old to be batman, left with nothing...a bitter old man with no one around him. but also his eternal hope for humanity he sees personified in superman, an alien. you can feel him, staring into the abyss, refusing to blink.
Perfect analogy... Just Perfect. Hans Zimmer created the whole genre of The Dark Knight Soundtrack to match the emotions of Bruce's life. Every single moment of it. The bad. The good. Zimmer's choice of instruments, the dissonances, and his valiant chord progressions didnt just match what the audience was watching on the screen. It matched what the Batman felt.. all the time.. at once. Incredible.
