- Kaas plateu , also known as Valley of flowers is situated 25 km from Satara city in Maharashtra. It has become part of UNESCO world heritage site in 2012 .The entire grassland turns into valley of flowers during monsoon season, August to early October. The distance pf Kaas from Mumbai is 278 km and takes around 5 hours to reach by road via the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and then NH4.
The entire valley was covered with the sheet of greenery and different colorful varieties of flowers making the place looks totally amazing. Certain parts of plateau has been covered with barrier. Reason being ,the area has some special variety of flora which needs to be preserved. We thought to have chosen the best season to visit the flower valley (Kaas Pather- as the locals call it) unfortunately torrential rainfall spoilt all the charm. Whatever glimpses we got when the clouds cleared was mesmerizing. Wish we could get more clear sky.
Best time to go: August to October. Check Kaas website for further exact details of blooming

No Vlog rom last year????
I was planning to go there next weekend. Now I am thinking….Thanks for sharing this
Nice video... Next time go for Tapola. Just 25-30 kms from Mahabaleshwar. Very calm and nice place.
I visited KAS 2-3 years ago, It was very nice and clicked some nice pictures of flowers.
Its depend when you go there, sometimes more rain can spoil party. (Probably at that time, I was with less expectation so I didn't think it as overhyped.)🙂
Tapola Dhosegar and Sajjangad are really Nice places nearby
Shreyas Marulkar we had plans of visiting Tapola but floods at kolhapur & Mahabaleshwar areas in late August spoiled it.Maybe soon 😊😊
Mam long time no video
Further down Kaas Pathar 1 km away there is Kaas Lake very beautiful place, Also near by there's a water fall called Thosegar
Richard Rangare yes we saw the lake from a distance but as I said the heavy rainfall made it the wrong time for us to explore more. Maybe soon again 😊😊
I noticed you guys left at 4 am. Was this trip taken in September/October. I am asking because I wanted to know if there is any night curfew in mumbai. Also, I didn't see any south indian food I guess 🙂.
There are lots of Hotels on the highway where u can get South Indian food. But u can try local misal too.
Completely agree. I loved the video.
Try a roadtrip to Tapola next time. ✌️
Hey…nice to see you both…kal hi soch raha tha kahan hai dono….hehehehe☺️
Love watching your blogs🙃🤩
Guys you should do a safari trip to Tadoba or Pench. That will be a really good vlog. It's a long drive from Mumbai, can be done with a night halt at Aurangabad.
What happened to you guys?
We had gone in 2013 and then also there were not many flowers. It was a drought year, very dry.
Happy Journey…👍🏻
It is overhyped a little bit but your timing to go there was wrong and the slot which was booked is also not recommended ……. You have not seen the places nearby to explore waterfalls, lakes and the nature …… I have been in that area for 3-4 times …… Since last some vlogs we are seeing Avijeet is driving and Sougata is sleeping 😂 …… Keep uploading such a nice vlogs and keep exploring new places …… Stay safe and stay happy ….. Waiting for the next vlog
Adv. Shuklendu Namjoshi we chose the time slot according to the convience of everyone else traveling along with us. But even then there was not much to see. Around the area cud have been explored if it didn't rain so much. So maybe some other time. Also yes as I said in the video, mostly I am always sleep deprived due to my work schedule so I try to catch up on drives specially in the night time as there is nothing to see around too. Thanks a lot again for liking the videos, keep watching 😊😊😊
Yes it's over hyped for sure. When visited there pre Carona 2 years back we were only able to see some grass nothing other then that.
Mayur Gupta yes we also didn't witness anything great to really be worth of mentioning. Maybe some other time 😊
Nice video
"Bajume baithke mai bhjiya nahi talnewali................😂😂." Within seconds she got angry.. Bechara Avijeet... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hello Babitaji 😍😍,,,, yes it is over hyped for sure
Ankit absolutely, atleast we felt that way 😊
Try to stick iron brushes near bonet for rat safety
Matlab?
Sougata बहोत ज्यादा भडकती है..... निंद कें लिये बोला जाये तो 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Next time plan in dry season(without rain).... Kaas is heaven 👍🏼
Over hyped for sure 😂 Just a money minting business. 😬😛
Nikhil Patil yes atleast we definitely felt it is quite a bit Overhyped 😊👍
This is an HONEST REVIEW of kaas plateaus 😆
No phool.. only who goes there become 'Fools!'
Amolendu haahaaahaa truely & indeed it out to be a "Valley of Fools" more than phools for us 🤣🤣🤣😝
@@storieswithsougata4206 No need to disrespect a place by saying such things. if your timing was bad its not the place to blame. Try going after 10 days or so when the rain stops and the place is a paradise. I have witnessed it personally. Plz dont spread misinformation :)
@@Rohit-lk6tu agreed with Rohit, its world UNESCO site.
Yes, totally agree with you all.when i had been there eight or nine years ago it was a carpet of pink and it's so beautiful.
They say overhyped all the time even when their own timming is wrong
