Great episode! This family seems the right people to not only adapt but thrive in a completely new culture - they were already all working hard at the "new" language.. I especially loved the views from the house they chose. They brought back beautiful memories of the views I woke up to on the first day of my first visit to Italy.- not just the landscape but the tiled grooves.
@@Abruzzoruralproperty How is it possible for foreigners to just buy property in Italy like that? Don't you need to be an Italian citizen first to be allowed to buy a property there? I would love to know more about this process.

I think their dream of $40,000.00 for a house big enough for the family, with outdoor space is just that....a dream. I bought an apartment in Le Marche, in a small village, close to the sea and mountains....perfect! It also had one of the only outdoor garden spaces in the village. The building is 600 years old. We bought the place for EURO 150,000.00 and have put almost EURO 200,000.00 into the renovation. Yes, it's beautiful and we are very happy here. But I think alot of people think they can get alot for less money without having much work to do on the property. Think again......
40.000 dollars is a deal for that beautiful houses. I want to buy one of them too and have that wonderful views. Lovely family

The kids want to go to Asia instead. They should go there and learn more on their roots.
Thats some strong passive aggressive racism coming through.
