Jill's design in RE1R is so on point! That outfit from head to toe looks flawless! That's one of the things I love about the classic RE games, they always dress the characters in a way to show they really cared about them.
I think Jill playthrough is less scarier with badass Barry wandering around!!! With Chris you don't receive a lot help from support characters and don't see them often.
Wesker is only seen twice before the big climax and leaves behind some ammo and health for Chris to use. Doesn't make sense why he would do that if he wanted all the STARS members dead.
Chris was less efficient than Jill. Can't unlock locks without an old key. Can't mix chemicals to make a V-jolt. I always scratch my head because Chris story is far more challenging than Jill's haha AND I STARTED WITH JILL! No Grenade Launcher for Chris. Jill got all the good guns, from 2 Magnums (If Barry dies), and a Grenade Launcher. Chris only had a Shotgun and a Magnum.
Josh Santos i just finished Chris’s . Never did jills. But damn so much more went on. I didn’t even get roof battle scene . I had shit ton ammo built Up I had like 25 magnum rounds and 30 shot gun shells. I just picked up shotgun shells before going to the rooftop, so it doesn’t make sense he picked up more ammo and nothing happened

I never played the HD. Looks like I missed some new stuff. I was surprised when the zombie approaches Jill and then Barry says, "Freeze! He's insane". It really caught me off guard. Barry should have gone a step further and read the downed zombie his Miranda rights.
Having Barry wander around and show up to help at the most random times helped my fears so much the first playthrough...i remember whenever he would stand in a room as an npc I would never want to leave!!
I love how compassionate Jill is in this game. You can tell shes grateful every time Barry saves her, especially the last time. And how readily she forgives him. It shows how much she knows hes hurting

Soooo...at 11:25 the scene where Jill overheard Barry on the other side of the door, in the Original GC REmake you can hear Barry and Wesker speaking much clearer, but in the Wii port and later HD REmaster for Xbox and PlayStation they made Wesker's voice less audible. I guess to make him being the bad guy less obvious.

That was before her, Chris, Leon and Claire were super action hero type characters. RE has changed alot, but it's cause we been there, done that. That's why maybe introducing new characters would be a welcome idea. I didn't really get to play RE7, but I'm aware they made new characters. I haven't kept up w RE in a min...i missed RE7, REmake2 and that 3rd CGI movie Vendetta. :/

I decided to only play as Chris because I'm maximising time here, so I'm watching her cutscenes to see how things would have gone. Seems like Jill gets a lot more cutscenes... It makes sense why people tell you to play her campaign first. Barry is always there with a cutscene that helps you know you're making progress early on. With Chris I kept getting lost but eventually finding my way. Anyways I don't regret my decision, it was a fun game.

And another scene that brothers me is when Enrico dies from a gun shot and the only person who appear later on when you get to the elevator is Barry, yet Jill doesn’t question anything despite him being the only person around the same area where Enrico was killed!
I don't think she was believing everything he said, just keeping her cards close to her chest. And I at least, couldn't tell that the muffled voice was Wesker's.

What happens to Rebecca Chambers if you're playing Jill? No cutscenes or anything about her. Didn't she go searching for his teammates in the Spencer Mansion after RE Zero? She is not among those rescued aboard the helicopter by Brad Vickers in the end. And the mansion just blows up and maybe with her in it. Same thing with Barry Burton if you're playing Chris.
Canonically, both Barry and Rebecca survive the events of RE1, but there's no ending in RE1 that shows that. So it's actually impossible to see the real version of the story in RE1.
Exactly, the real endings in the first three original games were left ambiguous in order to create a sense of mistery between them. The next time we heard of Rebecca is from the latest cgi movie.
@@schemar17 not really, back in the day there was a lot of speculation from the fandom, theorys and discussion were bring in the table, looking for secret endings add replayability and every new game was exciting because there wasn't a real cannon. Then re5 wraped it up the canon and now every game is a stand alone game. For some that's good for others it loses the shared universe feeling that bringed.

I have answer of some of them #1 Cold feet cutscene : Enter the dinning room then return immediately to hall see Wesker. Enter the dinning room again and watch Barry talk about the blood and return close to doors will trigger this scene #2 Zombie knock the door and Barry kill it differently : Easy just trigger the Cold Feet Scene and this will happen #3 Alternative Zombie Attack : If you have not trigger #1 and #2. Go see the zombie scene and come back to Barry. He will kill this monster with 3 shot #4 Nothing special #5 Zombie chase you : Just pick the dagger there and try to leave #6 Barry investigate Forest Dead : Apparently just not take the shotgun to avoid trigger ''Jill Sandwich scene'' Barry will be there and will not be somewhere else to help you. Go on Balcony immediately after get the Armor Key #7 Nothing special #8 Jill Sandwich : Trigger by taking the Shotgun without the broken shotgun. FluffyQuack so I was able to get that cutscene from 1:42. You have to go back to the main hall twice and walk towards the door for the cutscene to happed. I tried it with Chris as well but unfortunately it only works with Jill.
Haha Jill in REmake is entirely different compared to her character complex in the most recent RE3. She seems like she’s maybe upper twenties low thirties in this game, and in RE3 it’s like lower 20s. Regardless, both are amazing games!

This is the 2014 re-release for the pc and ps4/xb1. The original gamecube textures are a little more blurry but still look good for it time.

I think is by having Barry save you from being a Jill Sandwich and then continue towards the main hall in the second floor.

Yeah I liked claire. If we can have one more remake, I'd want it to be the code Veronica remake.
