Bedrock can render FPS better and general gameplay better than java can when being played from a low end device to a high end device which is why they expect high standards and large future for the game. The idea of java being unupdated ever, even if its a long ways from that ever happening, saddens me, its the original version of mc, and is way better when it comes to texture packs, data packs, vanilla in game customization, machanics, and especially mods!

Both addons and mods are very great and unique but in my opinion i like java more cuz of the amount of cool mods and possibilities u can have with java mods is pretty big tbh and rn most mods are updating to 1.16.5 and also 1.17 and 1.19 for Example the "All the mods " series of mods packs which goes all the way to the newest one "all the mods 8" which is in 1.19.4 , honestly i dont think bedrock is gonna pace out java , but maybe it will happend in the future because bedrock is much easily playble like on phones and most of devices which is one of the reasons its more pouplar than java and also bedrock being cheaper than java also helps bedrock gain more players but in terms or gameplay and mods , i think java takes the Win , and i mean thats just my opinion :)

I would argue that isn’t exactly the case. Java as a programming language is very hard to use and compile. I would assume more talented people to be making more refined java mods. Addons are way easier to make without issues. We haven’t had much solutions to memory issues until fabric

As a Minecraft Bedrock player (PS4) I prefer Minecraft Java mods because you know that in Play Station you can't download things, including Minecraft bedrock add-ons
