I just wanted to add this comment for anyone else that might come searching for info on the Bear 2 and "zapping". I'm not new to microcurrent devices and have been using them for about a decade (the Myolift QT most recently as well as Myolift Mini, Ziip, Clareblend and Nuface in the past- yes, I have a problem, haha). The only reason I mention that is because that decades-long experience means that 1) I know the sensations of how it *should* feel, as well as what it feels like if I'm simply dehydrated or didn't apply enough gel. 2) The Myolift QT goes up to 500 microamps, I believe, and I've used that device since it came out on the "Advanced" plan. I cannot imagine that the Bear 2 exceeds 500 microamps on their lowest setting "1" (without T sonic pulsations - disabled those, just in case and it was so low that I didn't have that metallic taste when working around my mouth). I've tried using different conductive gels in case it was just some problem there (and I did apply extra and I spritzed during treatment, all the things we know to do). I also tried a session after doing "7-skin" with hyaluronic acid & beta glucan, to make dang sure my skin was hydrated. All that to say, if you've had a similar experience, I'm just wondering if some of these devices might be faulty, because it is truly an electrical shock sensation and not that "static electricity" kind of zap feeling you get if you don't have enough gel or something. I even ended up with red welts any time I performed a hold on the skin (I only kept going as I was troubleshooting to see if I could resolve the shocks). I reached out to Foreo and have yet to hear a response, although some folks on skincare subreddits who are reporting similar things are receiving answers from the company saying "It's the t-sonic pulsations" (which, again, I disabled, just in case it was that) and that the amount of microamps per setting is proprietary (but I still doubt that level "1" is over 500). If the Bear 2 was your first microcurrent device and you're getting shocked...no, that's not normal and not how it should feel. At all. And, don't give up on microcurrent - it really is a wonderful modality for overall skin health. And, just to be clear, I'm not Foreo-bashing. I use and love the UFO 3 and Luna 4 and I know so many people adore the Bear 2. Since I've tried microcurrent devices from 5 companies and this device has been my only issue, perhaps some units are just glitching (or shorting?), because it's not a universal experience. Sorry for the novel, y'all...
I haven't had any issues with my bear zapping me, but my sister is a bit more sensitive to it so she layers the serum with thermal water spray which additionally hydrates the areas she's treating.
Great video. For a newbie in early 50s, what would you recommend.for upper/outer cheek laxity just below eyes? (Both type of device and brand). I wouldnt want to melt fat, only tighten laxity.
None of the devices I use on my channel melt fat. So you could use any of them. I have a quiz you can take: beautybeyond.com/quiz but I would recommend microcurrent and/or radio frequency and/or NIRA Pro (or LYMA laser if you can afford it.)
You Look gorgeous my dear! Thanks for this video. I use tripollar stop, microcurrent, and LED. I always trust your judgement. These have had an amazing impact on my skin the last two years. Especially the RF! Blessings and light and have a stellar weekend 🙏💜🥰
Thank you so much for such a fantastic, informative video 👏👏👏 loved watching it, I would love to see a part 2, I’d love to know more about your thoughts/usage of the envig edge as I love the thought of using a device without a gel, thank you ☺️
I’ve been using Celluma Restore for more than a year. I love that I can use it all over my body because of the flexible memory foam. I use it for anti aging, pain, wound repair, and hair growth. Well worth the money. I created a schedule for body areas and have been consistent with use.
I have the nuderma fusion. Love it. Helps my cystic acne not come the surface. Another recommendation I have is Dr rajani led mask. From rajani md. It has a chin flap and led bulb for lip. I use an omnilux currently and love it.
Hello! Thank you for this amazing and informative video as always! ❤ I have a question and I hope you see & answer. I have foreo bear (1) but now that I saw your review about Foreo Bear 2, I am intrigued. Do you think I need to go and buy Bear 2? Is the change that drastic between those two devices? I am happy with my foreo bear but if you say bear 2 is much better, then I’ll purchase that too. Thank you so much again for your hard work for all of us! love from Turkey! ❤️
Thank you so much for this great video!! Your skin looks gorgeous ; )) I have 2 questions... 1, do you feel like the tri-pollar device is "safe" / compatible if one has hyperpigmentation... do you think it triggers hyperpigmentation? 2, I have only slightly sensitive skin, nothing extreme.... and I have tolerated many different device modalities with ease, but it seems that the nira laser completely dehydrates my skin... especially around the eyes. Any thoughts, tips, advice? Thank you so much. XO
Tripollar has not worsened by hyperpigmentation when I tested specifically for that. But you could do spot test for yourself. If your skin is dry after NIRA, try layering on a face oil after. I use HA serum spray like Iris and Romeo, HA serum, new peptide cream, then face oil. Make sure to use NIRA's skincare or really clean products that won't irritate your skin with drying ingredients or fake fragrances.
My red light contour face mask from Omnilux just stopped working (conveniently just after the 2-year warranty ended), and their website says they don’t repair them. Do you think there is a difference between the cheaper, no-name , knockoff red light masks on Amazon and the name-brand ones from companies like Omnilux/Current Body/Dennis Gross, etc (assuming of course they have the same wavelengths of red light, etc)? Many thanks for insight you can provide!!
If possible and not too much to ask, Can you write out your schedule on when you use which devices and at what time of the day and share it in the link? Like on Sunday what would you do in the mornings and or night? Then on Monday what would you do etc. That way we can see how often you do the laser, LED, Rf etc. and we can see which devices should be spaced out or not used on the same day. ❤ Ty and have a great day
Hi. I have 2 beauty device routine videos on my channel, one of which I linked to within this video, and the other one on my channel includes a chart you could print or screenshot for reference. I recommend you go watch these 2 videos. I mentioned in this video that I'm getting ready to make my 2024 updated beauty device routine, so all the new info will be in that video - coming soon. Also, I don't have a "time of day" for my devices. I use them whenever I can fit them into my schedule since it is very inconsistent. Hope that helps.
I've got the new Nira Pro and also the Lyma. I did use the Lyma for quite a while but you're right about the time commitment. I'm doing the 90 day thing with the Nira now. How on earth do I fit in using the Lyma once the 90 days is up lol?! Fyi I'm still using my LED stuff. I also have the RF from Current Body and I'm not sure where to fit that in either. I have the jowl line thing which I'm trying to work on. Thanks for all your info - so helpful. You look amazing btw! I got to about 3/4 way through and heard you say my name - think it was me! Thank you for that😊. Look forward to your beauty device routine video. Emma x
I will when I’m done finishing my 60 day nira pro test. I just finished my Cosmelan peel (3 months) and did long tests of the Lyma laser and envig edge before that so I haven’t been able to have a consistent routine in a while. This is why I haven’t done an updated device routine video. I have 2 old ones on my channel if you want to watch those in the meantime. The main modalities I will continue to use are microcurrent, radio frequency, lasers and LED.
What device do you recommend for the under chin neck area? I have an Omnilux and use it in that area. I also have nuderma and use tret and glycolic acids in my routine
I know some people use the Nebulyft under their chin area, but I stopped using that device since it flared my melasma. For the neck, I use microcurrent erase or nanocurrent, radio freqeuency, red LED, and NIRA pro laser - and the LYMA Laser would also work really well under the chin and the neck.
Hasn't helped mine I have yet to upgrade because of using my nira up to 2x daily and still have only seen extremely minimal changes and nothing with the hooded top of my eyelid.
With Nuface microcurrent around the eyes, both I and a coworker get an eye twitch that lasts a few days. It messes with the nerves on your face. Just be careful.
Interesting I’ve never had this issue in 7 years I’ve been using the NuFace Pro . I didn’t have the eye and lip attachment till just this last year so I was using the big old balls for 7 years. I’m sure with millions of people in the world there is many more that experience it as well.
I use the Nira Pro and Lyla Laser on the same day, every day so far. They're both lasers but for me I think they do different things. I can get a pretty decent lift to my brows after using the Pro for about 2 1/2 months, and the lift stays. I also think the Pro give some clarity to the skin. The Lyma seems to take longer for results. I'm noticing a bit of tightening on my cheeks after 6 weeks. Maybe a bit of skin improvement but I have a long way to go to deal with sagging, glycation, wrinkles. I do notice that when using both, my Pro now feels a bit hotter than it did prior to using the Lyma. I use Level 5 and it's still bearable but definitely noticeably hotter. Once I get through my Spray and Glide from Lyma, I'll try the product you mentioned. I don't love the Spray and Glide so am happy to try something else.
Ladoura hair device is the best value for money. I only need it on the sides, top and around the hairline so didn't want to spend $$$ for a large red light helmet.
Thank you so much for all you do Love your channel it has been so helpful. I have a question about the ZIIP for when u have the founder on your channel . What’s the best way to send it in to u please ?
I have the Foreo bear first one then was gifted the thera face pro for Christmas. Which one is stronger or the differences between the two. Also trying to build a routine with the micro current red led mask and the nira laser pro. What would you suggest. Thanks 😀🇨🇦
I am pretty sure the Theraface Pro is stronger. I have a video about this device on my channel if you want to watch it. I also linked to my beauty device routine video from this video so you can go watch it and learn about order of devices: but in general, I would do NIRA then LED, then micorcurrent.
I have a few questions. Does the Nira Precision help with dark circles? I don’t like to use a lot of heat on my face because I get itchy from it. But I def would get the precision for my eyes. It’s worth it if it helps with hooded eyes and brightening and fine lines. So I am using the new marsama new face and chest mask every day with the green tea syrum. I also have the lyma laser and I love using it. I use it at night and like you, I feel like it’s really self care. I like that I can do other things with it. Like the spot treatments. Can I use it every night? Then I got the halo Ziip and I love it. I really need to sculpt and tone my chin, jowels, neck and cheeks bones and just everything. How many minutes / days should I use it? How mamy of the sessions on the app would you recommend every day? I want to get the myolift mini. But do i need it? And if so, how do I space it out with the Ziip for days off and on and the time I use each/day. I have the bear but I didn’t open it and am going to return because I think I have an enough microcurrent. Ok so my other question is I just got the Ladoro duo for hair and scalp. My hair is thinning a frizzy since premenopausal stuff. Do I use it every day and if so, how much time? Also, because I really want to smooth and lift my neck and my chin and jowels, do I need radio frequency? I am nervous about it because I worry that heat will make my psoriasis act up. There is one that you showed that is the first one that came out and it’s white and it doesn’t get as hot as others. It’s easy to hold with gold dots and it can get into eye areas. Then there is a black on. I think it’s called the nyolift. Would that make a significant difference in lifting my neck and chin? I have the masamma guasha. Can I use that on nights where I use the microcurrent/redlight? How many times/week should I be using that? One more thing, what skin care do you use for anti-aging on your body? Exfoliating can make my skin go red. I have to use very gentle skin care. Just wondering what you use. Thanks again so much. Sorry for ALLLLLLL my questions. And thanks for all you do!
Yes, NIRA Precision helps me with dark circles. Yes, you are supposed to use the LYMA every day at least when you start using it, so if you have time to do it every day, then go for it. Regarding the ZIIP Halo, I recommend following the routines in the app so you don't overdo it. I think the longest routine is founder's favorite at around 10 minutes? I normally do the lift routine which is 4 minutes of microcurrent, then the founder's favorite which is nanocurrent. Yes, I would get the myolift mini since it has erase mode and you can get the gloves to really stretch out and lengthen muscles on your face and neck. I always follow the manuals and only use microcurrent at most every other day to give my muscles time to rest. I never go off manual so I don't overdo it. You can rotate ziip and myolift as you wish, but only use microcurrent every other day at most. Yes, laduora duo is awesome and I follow the manual and use it every day for 5 minutes. I would skip radio frequency if you're sensitive to heat. The Nebulyft I stopped using because it was heating up the surface of my skin and flaring my melasma. You could try the Envig Edge from Tripollar as it doesn't get very hot at all - but it's sold out and only available outside the US. Regarding the Maysama gua sha tool, I don't use that regularly, but I have a video about it if you want to go watch it. Again, I would follow the manual and use it as many times per week as the manual says. But you might want to stay away from this one as it has heat. I would only use ONE red light device per day so you don't overdo it. Here is my body skincare collection: shopmy.us/collections/128651 Good luck and remember when in doubt, follow the manual!
It's really annoying, especially given that its specifically marketed as having "anti-shock" technology. I only ever got to use it on the lowest setting, and it still zapped me waaaay too much 😢
You are so good at what you do, always professional, always kind. Your communication is perfect. ❤ I only go to you as you are the best! Someone gave me a Mylloft QT, it came with only one probe and one mask, no way to hook up the mask. Confession I received this in Jan 2021, I used it once, I am thinking maybe I need to add some parts to it. I do not understand how to work it. Or is there something that is much easier and does the same thing?
Nuderma is a high frequency wand (I have a video about it on my channel) NuFace is microcurrent (I have a video about the new NuFACE Trinity+ on my channel), and the two lasers I use are LYMA and NIRA (I have videos about both of these on my channel).
I was really hopeful when you said that Maysama panel is sold at affordable price😅. Got a bit upset that affordable is around 500$. Maybe I’ll ask it as a birthday+Christmas gift.
Have you experienced the Amiro R3 Turbo? I heard it is a 3 in 1 device to simplify a device routine. I have been contemplating getting one. Any thoughts?! I am new to all of this.
I don't use any of the Amiro devices. Their team has been extremely aggressive and pushy regarding testing their devices, and I am uncomfortable working with them or testing their devices.
FYI -Nira’s website says, “ If you are using other at-home skincare devices or tools (like red light therapy, microcurrent, etc.), we recommend using the other skincare devices in alternation with a NIRA laser to give your skin some time to reset. For example, you can use NIRA in the morning and other skincare devices in the evening, or vice versa. If you are using other at-home skincare devices or tools that injure or puncture the skin (like derma rollers, microneedles, etc.), please refrain from using a NIRA laser on areas of skin that are broken or punctured. Instead, wait until the skin is fully healed before treating it with a NIRA laser.”
I alternate red light and microcurrent in the AM and use Nira laser at night. I have Nebulyft radio frequency but stopped it for a month to see if that caused my eczema and rough skin.
type of microcurrent waveform patterns - which one is more effective for the tear trough and sagging eye skin ? foreo bear 2 ( 680 microamps) what program under eye advanced lifting tapping sculpting but under eye you using ?
For under eye, you need to be VERY GENTLE. I wouldn't go above 300 microamps. The FOREO Bear says not to use their device on the eye area, so I don't. I use my ZIIP eye program or my myolift devices on the eye area - and then use red LED and my nira lasers.
@@ewaewa4832hmmmm they had reached out to work with me a few times and I always turn it down because their devices are EMS as opposed to microcurrent. I don’t use EMS. I just checked the website and it says EMS.
Because I don't really use my Newa devices anymore. My Tripollar ones have more features than the Newa and have the latest technologies, including muscle tightening and skin resurfacing, so if I'm going to use an RF device, I'm going to use one that does more in one session. Newa is clinically proven and works, so no need for anyone to stop using it. I have talked about this in recent videos about my routine.
I got newest version Nuface mini + I don’t have wrinkles only laugh lines. I wanted to lift my jaw line and prévention. I used religiously for 2 months but it did do nothing not even temporarily. I waisted my monthly …
Do you mean you wasted your money? I'm sorry to hear that. Did you reach out to NuFACE to return it since you're within the warranty period? Perhaps you should try another device that is stronger - as I mentioned in this video? The mini+ won't be strong enough for everyone.
@@niamhcaitriona I use highest intensity 5 on my lower face but have to dial it back to level 3 for my forehead. Still a bit zappy at times but I add more gel.
I’m shocked that you don’t have the nuface trinity+ pro you can do all the things you can do with the bulky myo lift it’s also 400 plus you get the boost button. I’d research it since the pro version can be purchased by nonprofessionals
The reason I don't have it is because it is marketed more as a professional devices and it not sold directly from NuFace. I work with NuFace all the and they send me consumer devices to test and make content about. If they wanted me using and talking about the Pro, they would send it to me. I have other microcurrent devices with higher microamps if I want to use them.... Also, you cannot use "erase" mode that comes with the Myolift devices to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles by lengthening the muscles. The NuFace devices do not come with this mode; they only come with "tighten" mode and I don't want to tighten my neck, elevens, and forehead. I want to smooth those areas out and not tighten the muscles, so I don't use my NuFace on those areas unless I'm doing a demo. And the Myolift QT device is handheld, actually less bulky than the NuFace, and has "stretch" mode that is the same as "erase" on the other Myolift devices. My Myolift devices have much more flexibility and features and allow me to get a much more targeted treatment.
The beauty device that you recommended newa and nebulyft RF Cause marrionett lines lip lines on me. I used it for 7 months and all the sudden 😢These lines appeared on my face. I thought it was gonna lift my face but it end up drooping my face😢
So you used both of these devices for 7 months and the lines suddenly appeared after 7 months? I am confused. Which one did you use? Both? If you didn't see lines for 7 months, then it seems to make sense that something else is causing these lines.
@beautybeyond40 I never had lines. I was working mostly on the bottom because I have fat face and Jowels thought it was gonna lift up my face and slim my face. And after 7 months I started getting lip lines and after marrionet lines suddenly. thought. Oh, you know, maybe because I'm older whatever. And then, after that, not too long. After that, I end up getting marrionett lines And I was using newa at first maybe 5 months I got ride of that and then I heard about that nebulyft about couple months or longer it coulvdve been newa it burn my fat pads? I learned about fat loose from RF it was to late my lower face is lot worse loose not tighten like they claimed.iam doing face yoga trying to reverse the damage.
Hearing a lot about RF devices burning fat. It’s tempting to reach for one when noticing laxity and jawline/jowl issues but the concern is - rather than melting the jowl for example, will it sag them more, I think going to a professional who knows the right temperature to control it would be better IMO. Try improving your skin barrier, less is more, also use of a Gua sha twice a day can surprisingly help.. as can facial massage if you find the right videos to follow on TH-cam… I’ve even read going into a sauna after a swim has benefits for skin tightening.
@@KC-ft9hp no - the newa, nebulyt and tripollar face devices do not melt fat. they don't get hot enough and don't go that deep. I get asked this so often that I made a separate video: th-cam.com/users/shortsPWXdTbfS1zk?si=9R7wtRrsJHMmzZtg
@@glossychops5276 be careful because the professionals use devices like Morpheus 8 that have a fat melting setting and i have heard terrible stories from people who lost facial fat and volume even though they went to a top board certified doctor. I can't speak to that personally since I only use at-home devices, and i'm sticking to my at-home deivices.
I have never experienced this over the years! Sorry to hear this
Interesting I’ve never had this issue in 7 years I’ve been using the NuFace Pro .
I didn’t have the eye and lip attachment till just this last year so I was using the big old balls for 7 years. I’m sure with millions of people in the world there is many more that experience it as well.
@@everythingsperfectagain8112 and the Pro is strong!
Thank you so much for all you do
Love your channel it has been so helpful. I have a question about the ZIIP for when u have the founder on your channel . What’s the best way to send it in to u please ?
The best way is to comment on this Short where I asked people to drop their questions: th-cam.com/users/shorts_5aFyEkLOxE
What reasonable price LED Mask do you recommend?
Love your videos! Thank you!
I have a comprehensive LED device comparison video with detailed chart and pricing that I talk about in this video and link to in this video.
Great video! Any opinion on whether the Dennis Gross or the Current Body LED lip therapy is best?
I like the Dennis Gross one because it's easier to keep in your mouth by gripping it with your teeth.
All those devices are areally working for you look so young.
@@beautybeyond40 thank you so so much!!
Yes, the Bear zapped me too, lowest setting. I’ve also used the Myolift, Boost 3 and Clareblend and never had this issue before. Not happy. 😢
If the Bear zaps me, I just apply more gel or water. I always use the highest setting.
Thanks! I would ask 7e wellness customer service. They are so helpful
@@beautybeyond40 Thank you so much
Hi Trina, have you tried the Jov DPL device? Curious about it
Love your videos! What would be your recommendation for forehead wrinkles please? Thank you!
myolift erase, ziip nanocurrent, red LED, radio frequency, NIRA laser or LYMA laser. All treat wrinkles.
Thank you so much for your quick reply@@beautybeyond40 !
Is the nuderma clinical the same as the nuface or laser and the microcurrent? I’m confused.
Nuderma is a high frequency wand (I have a video about it on my channel) NuFace is microcurrent (I have a video about the new NuFACE Trinity+ on my channel), and the two lasers I use are LYMA and NIRA (I have videos about both of these on my channel).
What did you think of the Newa device ?
Really solid devices! I have a few videos on my channel about them.
I was really hopeful when you said that Maysama panel is sold at affordable price😅. Got a bit upset that affordable is around 500$. Maybe I’ll ask it as a birthday+Christmas gift.
I guess I was comparing it to the Dermalux panel, which is $2,500 and because it's so popular. :(
The Maysama developer frequently has special sales. Much less than $500
What do you suggest for sagging skin under the arms? (Bat wings 😂) Thxx
Great video ❤️😃thank you
what about anti wrinkle pillow cases
I don’t use those
Have you experienced the Amiro R3 Turbo?
Interesting. Notice no mention of radio frequency!
Hi Trina very useful video what do you think about jovs rejuvenation and ipl hair remova, which do you recommend l
Can you go video for microneedling and how yo use
I alternate red light and microcurrent in the AM and use Nira laser at night. I have Nebulyft radio frequency but stopped it for a month to see if that caused my eczema and rough skin.
So much good info - one of your best!
Which device that you find areally good result ?
Hi, thank you for the information! The codes are valid if I want to buy products from Europe? (current body) Thank you.
You're welcome. Did you try the codes? That is the best way to find out if they are valid for you.
type of microcurrent waveform
patterns - which one is more effective for the tear trough and sagging eye skin ?
foreo bear 2
( 680 microamps) what program under eye advanced lifting tapping sculpting but under eye you using ?
For under eye, you need to be VERY GENTLE. I wouldn't go above 300 microamps. The FOREO Bear says not to use their device on the eye area, so I don't. I use my ZIIP eye program or my myolift devices on the eye area - and then use red LED and my nira lasers.
Thank you for your answer .
Amiro S1 and S2 are interesting to buy. You probably can't use it under the eyes. . .
@@ewaewa4832 I don't use Amiro devices. Aren't they EMS?
It is combination of radiofrequency, microcurrent and light therapy
@@ewaewa4832hmmmm they had reached out to work with me a few times and I always turn it down because their devices are EMS as opposed to microcurrent. I don’t use EMS. I just checked
the website and it says EMS.
The one device I don’t see you mention is the Newa. Is there a reason why?
I think the biggest takeaway from this video is that you really shouldn't buy any of these devices if you are lazy.
Do you use Evenskyn Lumo?
Nope
Can you review the LG Pra L intensive multi-care device?
I've never heard of that one!
Can u do a video on whether microcurrents and radio frequency can cause migraines
I have never experienced this and I am very migraine-prone
Thank you so much 🥰
Which is better for liftinf face
In my experience, microcurrent since it targets the muscles
My foreo zaps me all the time. I’ve used it with their conductor gel snd bought the nuface conductor gel and I still get zapped
I just wet my fingers and tap it on the area getting zapped to thin out the gel on the skin.
It's so frustrating. I hydrated the hell out of my skin with serum & and gel, and nothing worked 😮
You can also get the attachments for the eyes and lips and the pulse LED with the 630 wavelength that is BEST for collagen building ❤
I’d also recommend ppl adding trace colloidal minerals to any HA serum you use as a conductive gel
@@everythingsperfectagain8112 I use my Maysama pulse LED mask so I don't have to hold a device to my face and lips, and it's done in 6 minutes.
