When Machine head are on fire they are top tier, the comparison with Master of puppets and the Blackening is Valid man. Machine head are awesome, burn my eyes, the more things change, through the ashes of empires, the fucking Blackening 🤟🏻, unto the locust, parts of blood stones and diamonds are all Exceptional, plus the new album sounds killer
When they open up their concerts with this song the mosh pit gets violent 🤟 saw them perform this in San Francisco for their DVD shoot and a year or so later in their home town in Oakland CA.
7:57 "it sounds like dueling guitarists"y brother that's exactly what it is. They released a DVD with the album and they said every solo they were battling each other.
@@hugemetalfan6664 Hell no they don't! I'm just getting into Machine Head actually. I know, I know, fucking LAME!! ESPECIALLY since I'm 44 and just heard of em like 2 years ago! Another band that I've fallen DEEPLY in love with within that time frame is Trivium! I consider them to be in the top 5 best metal bands out right now. What do you think?? Also, if you like Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Trivium etc (ya know, REAL metal) ya GOTTA check out Sylosis bro!
@@fatshady5714 omg yes Trivium that’s a great band also too, I’m kinda a new listener to that band too I started listening to their 2017 album and still love in’s their music. I heard of Sylosis before but I haven’t listen to them that much.
@@hugemetalfan6664 Hell yeah dude! Have you heard Trivium's albums The Sin In The Sentence, What The Dead Men Say, or their newest one, In The Court Of The Dragon yet?? They're ALL MIND-BLOWINGLY GREAT!!
It gives a terrible energy. But it's really so sad not to do the whole album. This album is too terrible. And most importantly, I'll say it over and over and over again it's so unfortunate not to have skipped the full version of Halo. So so so sad.
At the time 'The Blackening' was declared the new 'Master of Puppets' by the vast majority of the metal press.
And it's hard to argue it.
I agree with that statement.
You need a whole album review. The Blackening is a legitimate Masterpiece.
agreed!!!
No doubt, pretty perfect record. Easily their #1 record for me.
Hands down the best album of that era
The blackening is a masterpiece bro
Machine Head - A Farewell to Arms
The entire Blackening album is like this song btw
They went all out!
Another banger!!!
Couldn't agree more they killed this record.
This song definitely needs more reactions
This whole album is a masterpiece
That’s probably my favourite MH song. That or “Imperium”.
Try “I Am Hell” - incredible track.
I love when the remote makes guest star appearances.

Can't believe you only heard this 2 years ago. This was my album in 2007!

Best album ever. Cheers from Chile 🤘🏻.

Locust is such a baddass song.
This was their last truly great album. This track is an absolute fucking monster.
Facts, i honestly think it’s their greatest album too. Pretty much a perfect record
