I put a small freezer cooling pack in the pocket next to the bladder to keep the water cooler Doesn't add much weight but keeps the water cooler for longer, great on really hot and sweaty days when your body heat transfers into the water into the bladder, I also put some ice in the bladder for really hot days
This joker over here measuring with hands when he's got a foot on his arm :P Great informative video. Hard to tell scale of things in videos and this helped alot. Also, I just pull the air into my mouth when it's upside down to vent the air instead of messing with squeezing it out. Simpler that way.
I have had a leak and was about to toss mine and go buy another. I made a last ditch effort to research before throwing away another $85 and found your video. Thanks for sharing, ultimately the collared ring on my pack separated from the lid and i was closing it wrong. Thanks for the vid.
Woah! You have a ruler tattoo, that's awesome! I just saw this on amazon though, I was thinking of getting their hydrobak? but I think it might be too small? This rogue one though is a little bigger so it wouldn't look as weird when I use it while cycling :) Great review video! Keep it up!
thanks for this review, been looking for a light bladder pack that doesn't bounce around too much. My larger pack annoys, bounces all over the place especially trail running downhill. Looks like this one does too but maybe not as bad. Cheers.
Great review, I have been trying to decide which model to buy. One question, do you find that the water gets very warm when pressed up against you back on rides? That was that only thing i disliked about these packs, I could never seem to keep the water cool.
thanks! What I've done, and I should have mentioned this in the video, is add a good amount of ice to the water. It does eventually start to melt, but for my rides/hikes/runs of a couple or hours or less, it's still stayed pretty cool. What I do notice is that the water in the tube is always warm, so when I first take a drink it's warm, but the a second later it's nice and cold.
@@brucechastainreviews Perfect, that’s a good idea, I’ll try that. Appreciate all the detailed information, hopefully you’ll continue to review more cycling products 👍

@@stkyfngez awesome. I do have another channel that's more dedicated to biking. th-cam.com/users/brucechastain
@@brucechastainreviews Nice, I’ll check that out now. My channel is also devoted to cycling, nice to connect with someone who’s into the same stuff 👍
Do you think it could be possible to put running pole in it? For running
I think probably too small for that.
Price? Brasil 550$ more end less
Wish I watched this video before I brought mine lol
5L refers to the capacity of storage, not including the 2L of water resovior. So 7L in total 😂
