Good analysis. There are some sad parts of his life. But country developed and remained United in his time. This aspect is remembered and he is loved even by Bengalis. After his regime the country broke into two parts and industry collapsed and country thrown into rubbish by Bhutto regime.

I lived in Pakistan during Ayub's regime. In my opinion he was Pakistan's greatest leader. However, his biggest mistake was handing over power to Yahya Khan, who screwed the country up.

No one is perfect but his achievements far outweigh his short comings. Don't really get the point of the video. If the title says interesting facts then it is clearly wrong. Interesting facts can also include some good aspect but tone of the video is misleading. In the intro you said he would travel internationally with some MNAs wife instead of his own wife. You were clearly trying to imply something else when it was his own daughter. And do you even know the reason why he never traveled with his internationally wife. Very easy to tarnish someone's reputation without proper knowledge.

Ayub Khan was from Tarin branch of Abdali Pashtun tribe. He spoke fluent Pashto and had a strong Pathan mindset and was raised in Haripur, Hazara region of Pakhtunkhwa.
Among other great feats and achievements he also had set up Atomic Energy Commission in 1961 that ultimately made A Bomb for Pakistan.
This video seems to be the part of a smear campaign to malign the great personallity of Ayub Khan.

I was witness to an incident incident that happened in 1968 or 69 in Peshawar when FM Ayub was addressing a mass public gathering; that was the time when he was being labelled d as Cheeni Chore due to mere 50 paisa increase in Sugar prices. He was fired upon by a young student from.Charsada while standing at the rostrum, Ayub ducked down and saved himself. The boy was arrested and trampled under the feet by one of Ayub's son who was present there. That proved a turning moment in Ayub's popularity and soon afterward he resigned under pressure from.Bhutto's country wise agitation
Ayub' contributed a lot towards development of Pakistan, and making its defence impregnable. However his opposition to Fatma jinnah made him unpopular.
His sons contributed a lot in his down fall because of corrupt practices and creating lawlessness particularly in Karachi where they gave humiliating treatment to agitators protesting over rigging the presidential elections. This rigging proved catalyst in separation of erstwhile Pakistan.
Selection of a drunkard and womanizer like Yahya Khan as Army Chief proved another proved another disastrous step resulting into dismembeiment of Pakistan.
