Hi guys! Not sure what happened with the automatic timestamps, it's correctly added to the video description, but for me, they simply disappeared after a few hours of the video being published. I know they are super important and help you navigate this longer video. Usually i watch many ur videos without comment, but this type of tutorial I hope there will be much more videos like this. I used to struggle with post pro photoshop before. But now, ur videos make my design much looks beter. Thanks Oliver, glad u make this video
Wow, this tutorial is an absolute game-changer! 🎨🏗 The level of detail, clarity, and workflow efficiency you bring to architectural plan rendering is just mind-blowing definitely one of the best resources out there for designers! 👏🔥
Absolute gold content, the attention to detail is very noticeable and appreciated! Obviously love this content and make the most out of it but this is understandably a much harder video to make, bottom point being i'm sure anything you bring us will be top notch quality and always useful!! By the way the amount of shortcuts and non destructive ways i learned throughout this video makes it its own professional photoshop tutorial as well, 2 in 1!! :) Thanks Oliver
Wow, thanks a lot for the feedback, Tonio! I'll be sure to keep the longer tutorials in mind from now on. And you're right, although this tutorial was with an architecture plan, the techniques could certainly be used for other 2d drawings.
Unfortunately my financial stuation doesnt allow to buy courses at the moment, for what reason tutorials like this on youtube are super helpful. Thanks!
I completely understand! That's the main goal of the TH-cam channel here, to provide as much free value as possible. So longer tutorials will be on our priority list in 2025. Thanks for the feedback! 😄
Thanks!! I use Adobe Premiere Pro and whenever there are animations included I use Adobe After Effects connected with Premiere so I can use them simultaneously. In this particular video, there weren't many, maybe just the typewriter text and the files preview at 0:30. I also have this way of editing that I developed over the years I guess. I make sure to give enough attention to the details, like sound design, color grading, subtle camera zooms (both on screen and talking head), and even other things like ensuring that the flow of the video is maintained using J cuts. I hope that gives an idea of what I do during editing haha
Thank you for this tutorial. It has really helped a lot. I got the free PDF file and also paid the $5 for the rest. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten a link for the paid one. Please, your help will be appreciated.
Thanks for the support! You should have received a receipt in your email. But if you can't find it, don't worry! Just send me an email at hello@learnupstairs.com with your info and I can sort that out for you.
Or group the layers you want and then apply a mask to hide. I used to work a lot of times with non destructive workflows back then 2017 or so. My photoshop files weight about 4/9gb depending. Managing bunch of layers lol. I miss using it. Great tut
Oh, I didn't see this other comment and said the same thing over the first one! 😅 Completely agree with you! And I can imagine, these Photoshop files can get super heavy quite quickly. Thanks a lot for the comment, Helios!
Yes, you're totally! But for that, I'd need to group these layers so that the mask applies even over the blending options. I just didn't want to make the video even longer than it already is haha thanks for adding this to the comment section, Helios!
@@LearnUpstairs You're welcome mate and you're right, too. Maybe for some people it could be a burden already and making extra steps would hace scare them away. The shortest possible for better focus :D
Great tutorial🤌 When you were selecting the carpet in Photoshop, you zoomed in closely to see the pixels. But when you moved the selection to the other part of the carpet, it looked like you got there faster than usual. Did you use a shortcut or a specific technique? Thanks in advance!
Thank you! Yes, there's a shortcut for that. Whenever you're zoomed in like that and moving your mouse across the screen with a selection, you can hold SHIFT and that will accelerate the movement. Be careful because it's quite sensitive, so often for these situations just one or two clicks on the SHIFT key is enough to get me to the other side quickly. I hope that answers your question! 😄

@ Cheers mate! Yeah, pretty much heavy af.
You could use masks to solve those shadows on the walls or between. To cover / hide anything you'd like.
