Wanya Morris struggled against NFL pass rushers in pass protection. I think Kingsley Suamatia is the better pass protector than Morris but we’ll all see how it shakes out after camp. Also in terms of footwork his feet 👣 appeared slow to me, idk if anyone else saw it. I have a feeling Suamataia is gonna get after it in camp from the feeling I got in the interview after he was drafted. This is one of the biggest position battles in my opinion. Morris is a better run blocker, pass protection could decide who gets the job. What are Kingsley’s weaknesses??? I know he’s got technique issues going into camp ⛺️.
It is so obvious he’s not a left tackle. Some of the worst feet I’ve ever seen from someone attempting to play that position. He has big heavy legs and a small torso - right tackle at best and maybe even better suited for guard. The difference between him and Kingsley, as raw as he is, will be stark once training camp gets going.

If the Chiefs are smart. they will keep and nurture both guys. Its such a vital position.

Chiefs need a vet stop gap. Bakhtiari could be an option.
Hope he gets pass pro figured out, because he's a really fun run blocker to watch.
