I know this video is a little older now- but this topic made me think of an issue I had with a customer who has a professional Backun clarinet that is hissing/airy toned only when playing low E/B. The venting is in proper order, checked for loose screws and rods and was able to reduce the hiss but not completely eliminate it. Any advice? 😅 Love the Wednesday wisdoms! Thank you guys for creating this series!
That is odd, you might want to check the spring tension on the Eb/G# key to make sure it's not blowing open. For the in staff B, if it isn't already you can try replacing the register key with a beveled cork pad or try the vent tube spring trick.

¡Muchas gracias por tus amables comentarios!
what happens if i use a longer spring on the register key pad
If the spring is too long it will enter the bore and will disrupt the airflow, which can impact response throughout the range of the instrument.
I have an Albert system clarinet ,iff I don't poor water into it it won't play
Maybe a more sticky liquid would help? Try apple juice😂
