I would love it if you made a video about how to price your work. Like considering the cost of supplies, ink, paper, etc and shipping plus the cost of the art itself. Is it how long it took you to make the art, or do you just pick a price that feels right? Do you make a list of costs per item plus add a profit of course. I would love to know how you calculate it all.
Thanks for sharing how you formatted your canvas in Procreate. I liked that you gave an alternative for printing in Canva. This helps out huge! Have an amazing week!
This was so useful thank you!! I have the same printer and have never got quality prints like that from it, and was very close to giving up on it! I think I definitely need to go back to it and do some more testing, and getting some good quality paper seems to also make a big difference.
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate how open and honest you are. I've just started wanting to make prints and didn't know where to start - this is perfect timing and really inspirational!
thank you SO much for this video. I'm currently in the process of getting a printer to be able to add prints and stickers to my shop and it's so hard to find helpful videos where they show side by side comparing different kinds of paper and different color palettes. Thank you again for doing this.
The universe knew. I have been doing my own paper testing recently & it is neat to see your process as well. Epson just has amazing papers! I fell in love with the Premium matte paper myself. Thanks for all the great videos!💖
Thank you for making this! I’ve been pulling my hair out learning how to print my art and I use the velvet Epson with the same printer and the colors are so jacked up. Very light and faded. Going to try your settings later fingers crossed
Thank you for being so thorough and for linking the products you’ve used! I’ve been struggling with my jank printer and I’m thinking it’s time to upgrade!
Epson printers are some of the best high quality printers for at home, however one of their "flaws" is that to achieve some of the best quality you want to use their own paper brand. Which is why the Hahnemühle paper (which is used by many professional companies) essentially failed.
Hi Jen, I recenly got the Epson Eco Tank 2850. I was hoping you could help me figure out how to get the correct print settings. I have a mac but I'm not sure what driver to install to be able to change the color modes like the saturation and CMYK. Would you be able to share the link to the one you use?
Add the printer again. Go to System settings -> Printer and scanners. Add new printer and select your printer from the list. Instead of using the Epson installation process.
Great Video! I have a question reguarding whether you set your settings to borderless or not borderless? (trying to figure it out ot get my sizes accurate x.x)
Wow, this is so valuable - thanks a million! I have the et 2750 but mine sucks. It prints scratchy and patchy. I’m looking at other printers rn, but will try your settings and paper to see if it can be salvaged! I know paper quality plays a major role, but so does printing settings. I have the epson premium Matt photo paper too, but my colors never come out right. Regardless, this was so helpful, thanks again 🫶🏼
Thank you for the video! Can I ask why you choose to put your art into word or canva first? Is it solely so you can print on one page? Because if so, isn’t it possible to do this via the print menu?
Thankyou so much for your video i am looking into starting to sell my art as prints. Do you sell them as just the paper? Or laminate them? Or frame them? What would you recommend ❤ i own a laminator so this is an option i can go with im just not sure what would sell more ❤
Thank you so much for the information 🤗 And also I'm getting roller marks from the printer on the printed photo, are there any settings you prefer to avoid that?
Do you have any advice why the print might be coming out grainy? I have the same printer, same drawing software and drew my art in the specific specs. What could I be doing wrong? Thank you!
Hi! Your videos are always so useful and cozy ❤❤❤ I just want to ask you a question! I have the same printer and I'm not able to print on thicker papers T^T I've been trying so hard changing the settings and hand feeding the paper... Could you show or explain how do you print on thick papers like these on your printer? TYS!!
Thank you immensely for sharing your knowledge!! I've recently started making prints again and was wondering about which paper to use, so this was extremely helpful. I've also noticed I've got the excact same printer as you. I was wondering - did you ever have the problem that your prints were perfectly fine one day and then a couple of days later they are suddenly very pale even though you didn't make any changes, your cartridges are nearly full and you did a couple of print head cleanings. I just can't figure out why my prints are much paler now than when I created prints about a week ago. Thank you so much:)
Thank you for sharing! Could you share what ink you use and where you purchase it from. I've been searching for videos on ink comparisons but have not found any.
How is the ink quality? Have you noticed any fading due to light exposure or bleeding due to moisture on your prints? Is the ink waterproof once applied?
Hi thank you for the informative video! I’ve noticed with epson printers if I use thicker paper for prints the prints come out with indentations (pizza lines) did you experience this at all?
Thank you for this video, I’ve been patiently (not so patiently) waiting for this since you mentioned about making it a couple of videos ago haha So are these same settings you use for stickers too?? I use online labels weatherproof matte and sometimes their weatherproof gloss… I’ve been debating about the epson eco tank for my stickers ..
The settings are almost exactly the same. For stickers, I change the media type only on my computer in the systems dialogue window. Everything else is the same. I also use online labels sticker paper but I only use the matte paper. I've tried glossy paper before but I didn't like the feel of them so I've stuck to matte and I just laminate them. I like the eco tank because it's very reliable and gives me quality prints. It's also really good on using ink.
@@fructusillustrations I agree I don’t like the feel of online labels glossy paper, I use matte with Avery laminating sheets .. for printer I have canon TS8220 which drinks ink like crazy and also use HP envy with their ink program but it cannot print on thick paper or cardstock because there’s no rear feed, looks like eco tank can print on cardstock!?
just double checked, the specific issue I have is volume. I need to increase 3 different settings to hear this video, and any other I have no immediately turn all of them back down. tried different devices, same result
Hi u are amazing and ur videos are very satisfying... I have hp 585 smart printer...and a laptop... Can u tell me what i can do with this two things to start a business like u?
Hello I was just wanting to ask you if I didn’t have a printer at home, is there a good website you would recommend where I could send my art in and they can make me small art prints for me? 🩷
Sorry this is late, if you are in the US I recommend Fireball Printing! They are based in Philadelphia and cater to artists specifically. They even host art fairs! I have worked with them professionally at my old job and they are amazing.
I would love it if you made a video about how to price your work. Like considering the cost of supplies, ink, paper, etc and shipping plus the cost of the art itself. I'm not sure if I'll make a full video about this but I'll try to include a little bit of the process of it in a future video!
Thanks for sharing how you formatted your canvas in Procreate. I liked that you gave an alternative for printing in Canva.

Of course! glad this was helpful and you too have an amazing week ahead of you! ♥

Auto desk sketchbook is also a great option for digital art
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate how open and honest you are. I've just started wanting to make prints and didn't know where to start - this is perfect timing and really inspirational!
I'm so glad! These things can be a little tricky and scary so I wish you the best!
I've always been curious about the paper options for printing digital art, and your detailed process was super informative.
"permium matte" wasnt showing up on my settings but a "photo matte" was and it still worked! thank you so much! the quality improved so much

I watch all kinds of videos about printing art and photos. Yours has been one of the most helpful. Thank you!
Awesome, thank you!😊♥
Nice video, thank you for sharing. Do you seal your prints? And how do you seal them?

Great tutorial. Your layout, explanations, examples, workflow and recommendations were exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing😃
Great to hear!
Thank you for this video! It's amazing to see your process
You are so welcome!
Thanks for this video. I've been looking for good paper options for prints, and these look very promising.
you should totally do a video like this but with different sticker papers! love the vids!
Oh yeah! that sounds like a really good idea! thanks!
this is really well explained, lovely to see more of your process 😊
Thanks so much! 😊

very clear tutorial, thank you for sharing ☺
Thank you so much for showing us that procreate has a light mode 💕✨️
Omg yes! I know a lot of people prefer the dark mode but I don't really like it haha I use light mode all the time :)
I love technical video like this, than those pack order and rambling videos that others make!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HELPFUL. I’m so grateful. 🙏

Where you got your Epson printer?
I love your tutorial videos! They are super helpful and easy to understand :)
Glad you think so!😊♥
oooo thanks. I'm probably gonna get the same printer as you.
this was so helpful, love your videos so much! 💗
Thank you so much!!
thank you!
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for giving me advice for selling my art prints
Thank you for sharing this! It is very helpful! I have a question for you: do you use any special ink? Or just what comes with your printer?
I just use the ink that comes with the printer! No special ink and it lasts for a very long time :)
I wish this helped me out but i dont even got any of these settings for my epson and we got the same printer.. xD
SAME!

Hello...thank you for this! Do sticker prints or art prints on glossy paper fade after some time with these inks?
First I love your work. Second your videos are excellent, very informative. Thanks to share 😊❤

And also I'm getting roller marks from the printer on the printed photo, are there any settings you prefer to avoid that?
It might not be a setting issue but it could be that the paper is too thick. Sometimes that can happen so maybe try a different paper weight:)

what type of ink do you use? is it a dye or pigment ink?
