- Heres a few lessons from the hollyford trip, carry more spares than you need, be prepared to stay overnight of longer if you have to be rescued, put everything into dry bags and tie it to the boat , have some spare parts for the impeller, carry plenty of fuel and food and remember these boats always float
If you are looking for an Inflatable outboard jet talk to Graeme at www.outbackboat...
a big thanks to Larry form Thirsty work films for the extra footage • Hollyford Jeyboating E...
If you like this type of video , could you hit the subscribe button, thanks
Excellent public service announcement! Only thing I would add is a SOL survival blanket and a small light source. Having worked as crewman on SAR and Rescue choppers these can be seen from a long way off at night. Or better, a fire as these are even more visible. Loving your videos and epic adventures! Legend!
I really miss the old vids from this channel ,, little jet boat , scenery, music , was cool
seems like the boats only "weakness" is the driver. we have all left the leg locked
great insight
Pack roll of good duct tape. I used some to repair a leak years ago on an inflatable, forgot about it, was out boating last easter and realised I was still running my duct tape permanent fix.
You should do a video on your stick steer setup! I’ve been looking for awhile and can’t decide for my solar.
Testimate to a strong transom to boat connection when you hit hard going forward or backwards and the motor is locked down.
Any idea when you will do a complete review on your new outback boat?
How does it compare to the Solar?
Is the bottom protection sufficient without the poly bottom like the Solar?
Thanks Goat
Trying to work on the reveiw at the moment, theres just one more spot I need to take the boat to first, its much better than a solar , it’s a completely different handling boat , steers , handles the shallow and the rapids better and is welded together, not glued from a really tough material. It’s like going from a Toyota Corolla to a Camry, sort of looks the same but just does everything a lot better. I had the orange boat repaired two years ago and its been running the same material on the bottom as the blue boat, certainly a lot tougher than the solars poly bottom
I have a jet wolf foot. It is steel right below the rubber. Solid as a rock. I'm sure I'll break something else one day. Trick is don't hit rocks.
GOAT!!!!!!
Make up some "Goats part packs for rubber jetboats" and sell em.
You should be using a Garmin in reach so you can send tex messages to a cellular phone.
it will be the next thing that I will buy
Is it better than the solar?
Yes it is, steers better, handles the whitewater and the shallows a lot better, passengers dont get wet any more , its a completley different shape underneath
Any moose?
plenty of deer, no moose this time
