I think that if all the candiria fans in the world got together and formed a community, it would literally be the best place on earth to live. Their vibe and talent would keep everyone close and we would work together to create great shit. As long as they played there every week we would be fine.
Ken was the heartbeat. How they explained the breakup on this is not exactly how it went down if you hear Ken’s side, but whatever its over now. Dan seems like a good dude, but its not the same feel. Saw them in BK in 2016 and there was a void. Will always love the first 4 albums.
Which tracks on the album were drummed by Ken? They are hard to spot as it is rather seamless in that the drumming doesn't stand out from Dannys so I would say credit there, being able to drum on an album with Ken and not have Kens' track stand out is a serious achievment.
SERIOUSLY - as much as I'm hyped/psyched about the "new" CANDIRIA album, I am totally & utterly disappointed that KEN SHALK is not on it...I mean -seriously, how can you not make-ends-meet and work-something-out w/ One of the Greatest Hardcore Drummers of All-Time?! No disrespect towards to the new bandmate but it's kinda sorta not having Bonham w/ Led Zeppelin, Moon w/ The Who, Peart w/ Rush, Portnoy w/ Dream Theater, etc. ...ok, Ok, OK...I'm just kidding, those drummers were replaceable - K-SHALK IS NOT! #CANDIRIA
Anytime man. I saw you try to push through a set in maine with candiria in the late 90s with a broken wrist, much respect. You guys opened for VOD, so instead of cancellation you guys played a good hour jazz/jam set. Ill never forget that show.
A perfect follow up to What Doesnt Kill You. Yall proved again that youre the only band that can play all genres perfectly.
Absolutely phenomenal record. I think I just listened to this 8 times on repeat.
while they were sleeping has been one of your most powerful to me. and album for sure. very well written way to progress once again.

I love Candiria! I always include this band's songs on mixes! \m/
Can't wait to hear it.
this album is a little on the softer side but I love it. Im just happy these guys are back together making music....
Gonna be awesome can't wait!
Looking forward to this blasting in my car!
And it's an incredible record for sure. Best of 2016 perhaps.

Candiria ain't shit, they are the shittttttt!!!
Is that a Pulse kick drum? LMAO
Fuck! That's a whole Pulse kit! Keep it low budget.
It works
Chris Kiefer Ugggh. that shitty Pulse kit was just the shared rehearsal studio kit. I hated that thing.
@@dannygrossarth9133 Make do right? You still Shredded it. Big shoes to fill & I give you props.
So no more Kendiria
first half of the album is great, second half is fuckin' generic metalcore
menteencoma what band are you in
Minus "Invaders" last year, this band hasn't put out anything good since 2003
shady00
I didn't even know they been releasing shit ...
Sorry
I ended up uninstalled this album. Sticking to their old records.
They went soft.
too bad on the Ken story, he's an amazing drummer. really excited to hear how it came out without him.
Thanks for the kind compliment. Cheers!!!

Ken you're the man one of my favorite drummers.
