(SM64DS) Secret Aquarium as Wario without swimming (with B or Y)

- Hello everyone !
This video is actually a stupid challenge where you have to beat The Secret Aquarium without swimming with B or Y. So you can only swim with A, which is incredibly slow.
With Wario being the slowest swimmer, this is actually extremely close to not being possible, and so the sheer absurdity of the solution made me want to post it.
What better day than April 1st ?

For anyone wondering, I don't yet know if I will tackle world 9 Ultra Jumpless, but if I do, I'd rather collect every star coin first.
Some people have asked me about NSMBU Jumpless, but since the Wii U doesn't have an emulator that allows TASing, it's not possible for me. I just want to prove that it's possible (or not), not actually do it myself in one attempt :)
I will most likely do some SM64DS first (like this vid :D )

I'd love to see how many "jumps" it would take to collect every Star Coin, although it would probably be a whole lot
@@RHVGamer Yeah, I feel like it would definitely be impossible to do most star coins jumpless, but I am quite interested in seeing a "minimum jumps" style playthrough with them, with World 9 capping off the end of it.

I would love to see World 9, and a full game minimum jumps run if you'd like feedback on whether or not you should do that. It would also most likely boost your channels growth more if you continue it, so not a bad idea on the metrics side of things.

Wow! I loved the way that you used Luigi and Boad in this one. It didn’t look easy to work out the challenge with the rotating platforms, but well done! Can’t wait for the next one!

It’s crazy that you managed to find the solution for 8-Airship! I honestly didn’t think it was gonna be possible with the wall clipping glitch requiring a lot of vertical mobility, but you presented it!

Death Count Info - There were 69 deaths in this level, and 420 deaths total in World 8. The challenge continues with a total of 489 deaths.
Luigi died 35 times in this level, Mario died 20 times, Blue Toad died 8 times, and Yellow Toad died 6 times. Across the whole challenge, Luigi died the most with 168 deaths, followed by Mario with 133 deaths, then Blue Toad with 74 deaths, and then quite a way behind is Yellow Toad with 45 deaths.

I remember World 9 So little, so this isn't just a Jumpless playthrough for me, but instead it's a "This is World 9!" playthrough.
Tho I must admit World 9 Looking kinda different than I remember-
Wdym, this is the 9-1 I remember. Wario was DLC, right? I used that for 9-7 and 9-8 instead of here, but it’s cool how the jumpless strats include him here.

I never got to world 9 back when I was younger playing NSMBW, so I have no evidence proving that this isn't actually 9-1

YO I'm not done watching the video yet, but finding an ACE by setting a specific memory value to 0 IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME is an insane idea! This might honestly go down as one of the most groundbreaking glitches in history. I wonder if this can be done in other games too

I loved the part where Blue Toad said "It's not jumpin' time" and then proeceeded to not jump all over the level
I had no idea Wario was in NSMB Wii! He must be the secret character you unlock for beating Bowser without jumping
Actually, he’s DLC. I used him for 9-7 and 9-8, but it was cool to see how the jumpless strats in 9-1 included him. Can’t wait to see whether he uses King Thwomp as well!
All known laws of aviation suggest that the wario is to fat to jump off the ground, wario of course cares about his image and doesn’t jump during the expertly crafted 9-1
Wow, someone finally unlocked Wario and Waluigi and replaced the Toads in NSMBWii! All we had to do was beat World 9-1 jumpless, thank you!

The shocking thing is that Wario nearly drowned to death a couple of times, yet he managed to get the red coin star with a lot of effort and determination (and bravery)
The funny thing is is that this was still jumpless.
In all honestly, I think we would see them getting the star coins first and then doing the level all jumpless

Indeed. I thought this video was amazing, didn’t realize that it was even possible to GET to world 9 jumpless, much less actually complete many or all of the levels. Fav part of this video was when the paratroopas starting shooting bullet bills at mario and he used them to destroy the turtle government.

you see, this technically counts as being a NSMBW jumpless run, since what you're seeing of SM64DS is actually arbitrary code execution to run wario in the aquarium secret star.

Jokes aside though when I first played this game I thought you swam like this and not with the other button for some reason. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out

Not gonna lie, I thought this was intentionally part of the run.
My mind was trying to link how Wario setting the HOLP would affect the run, despite it being a DS console and not a Wii, despite that it's a different game and despite that there are no objects to grab on that course.
I don't even think HOLP is a thing in the DS version.
