Great video! Your dedication to perfecting soft-boiled eggs is inspiring. These three methods are a game-changer for getting the perfect eggs every time. Thanks for sharing!
My dedication to the egg really comes from how much I love popping the yolk on a slice of buttered toast with a side of bacon. I'm addicted what can I say.
I never, ever thought of air frying an egg! Yet, it turned out beautifully. Thanks for the great video and education... I'll be trying air frying next for sure ;)
The best way I've found is using that exact steamer basket you showed. It fits easily into the bottom of a medium saucepan, just put water in the pan so it stays under the basket. When it starts to steam put the lid on it and set a timer for 10 minutes for hard cooked. I take them out with a large spoon and immediately put them in a bowl of ice water. They always peel easily. Just today my sister sent me a Dash egg cooker. I tried it with two eggs for hard-cooked. It works well, shuts off on its own. You can make up to six at a time, and soft cooked or hard cooked, and there is an insert to use for making an omelette. But I really prefer the simplicity of the steamer basket.
It's good to hear you have a system that works well for you. I don't mind peeling them boiled like you mentioned, but I gotta say I was surprised, you could feel something was different with the ones that were pressure cooked.
@@HouseDadLife - Don't hold back, bro! The accent and the pronunciations were 100% Canadian. Conspicuous by their absence, however, was the peppering with "eh's". 😄

I'm glad you found the video useful, enjoy whatever version of egg you decide to make!
Nice, thanks David. 🥚

For more Canadian authenticity, we needed to hear a lot more, "Eh's", eh. "Set the timer for aboat 6-minutes, eh?" 🙂
Now you have me wondering, do I put a bunch of Eh's in my videos. Hilarious comment that will have me double checking my editing for sure.

I'll continue as usual, but, now I'll be laughing when edit. Thanks for making my day, cheers man.
