Most moonballers are not comfortable at the net, so just play dropshots to bring them in and then a passing shot while they try to return to the baseline.
Next tip: play a lot of slice. It can also be a short slice as it doesn't matter he won't attack it anyway but instead after he has to move forward to the net or awkwardly backwards after his shot. This will at least confuse him and let him play balls he's not used to.
@@jackbond5915this is nightmare scenario haha I know very good players who push the ball by choice but can actually pass you or hit winners when they need to. At this point I would call them a smart good player not a pusher lol gonna be a loooong day with them

Don't come to the net after every shot. As he says in the vid wait for a short ball, attack it, THEN come to the net and close off angles. Chances of getting lobbed when they are on the defensive and running to catch the ball is much smaller
If you’re getting lobbed majority of the time your attack shot wasn’t aggressive enough(placement, angles, off speed hits, height of hit, different variety of spins). You’ll get lobbed every now and then. It is what it is. It’s all about being unpredictable.

Alberto is right.. Moonballers usually hate coming forward cus they love being near the baseline so you can also mix in some drop-shots forcing them to the net and pass/lob them.
If possible: Stop - Lob This type of players usually love running horizontally but they are not so comfortable with running vertically. It's not that easy to keep the orientation while running backwards...
As a moonballer, I struggle against players with unpredictable shot selection. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, I'll adapt be able to deal with it, even if you have good shots.
