Should Grandparents be Forced to Babysit?

A daughter demands that her parents babysit her children or else. What should the grandparents do?

Grandparents should be able to keep grandkids when they want to. There should be no obligation.

Folk are going to do what they want to do, we as GrandP's shouldn't have to kiss their azzes to see our grandchildren!!!

Family is family. There should not be any requirements or stipulations to love on a grand. But you're right people do what they want.

This is why I’m grateful my grandparents desired no involvement. I feel no obligation to babysit my own grandkids. 😂

My grandparents didn't baby sit my brother or me. But they did love, support and spend time with us. They enjoyed their grands without the relationship turning into a job. You are right, you are under no obligation to babysit.

@@annereginajohnsonThat sounds like the ideal relationship. When I was growing up so many grandparents were guilt tripped into babysitting. One even told me she couldn’t retire, because her 3 daughters (each with 2-3 kids) would harass her even more.
