This will tell you the right ratio of stars to burst you ought to use when building your own shell so you won't overdo it with burst. The issues that may arise when using too much burst loaded with flash? Your stars can potentially be " blown blind". Please let me know what the ratio is if you so happen to break another one open. I sent a header up with 15g slow flash and 85g stars but have a feeling I could have gotten away with less stars and more flash. And that's only because I used slow flash. Nitrate based flash is the only flash I'll ever use for color shells. I would be a very happy man if I could get away with using 50% slow flash in all my color shells. The 15 grams slow flash with 85 grams stars appeared to hit harder than 15 grams slow flash all by itself.
@@fishinpyro Got it! I suppose the necessary ratio of burst to stars depends on how hot of a slow flash you're using. There are different recipes. I'll be comparing 60/30/10 kno3/Al/s to the current one I use: 50/30/20 kno3/Al/s. I used 50% in the latest vid upload in the rocket.

These and them Kobra look legit! I was worried just extra cardboard but it looks like them nay sayers were wrong. Will have to demo to see if these are the TRUTH but the weights are heavy for sure! Def a good sign for these new shell kits!

90 g's of stars 30 g's burst same shell he broke down but mine only was 120 of comp

60g of stars with 40g of 5/3/2 slow flash in a barely spiked casing works perfectly.
