    hello when baking, i dont have the option of sampling 2x2. I only have 4x4...will it affect my model? i've tried baking like 3 times already and it looks different to yours

      Hi, go with 4x4 it’s even better. Also don’t worry about it looking exactly the same because your baking will look different based on the light you have selected and it’s rotation in the scene. The only thing you want to pay attention to is clean bake, meaning no dark spots from overlapping uvs.

    hi, im trying to follow along but i got stuck at the wood smart material. we have the same material but for some reason, yours looks different than mine in the very beginning. mine looks more dull while yours is more stylized and saturated, im not sure why.

      There is an awesome trick to get your stylized materials to look more saturated and pop more…. For wood… Do this, add a red color (fill layer) as a separate layer on top… then apply a Multiply blend effect to it and dial down the opacity of that color to like 30. There are many tricks, this is one way to boost dull materials.
