I drove school bus part time for a school district for 4 years and loved it. Would never drive for one of those 3rd party outfits. The kids and parents were always great. It’s not a job you’re going to get rich on, but it’s definitely a worthy calling.

Same deal as a transportation mechanic and drivers don’t last. District depends on third party drivers.

Drop dead. It’s honorable work, and if you love driving, it’s a lot of fun. I don’t know why people expect that every job should pay them $50/hr right off the bat. You want better pay? Quit whining, learn a trade or go back to school and get yourself a degree.

Why is it every time I see some username with Common Sense in the title, it's some tinfoil hat, cross burning nutter butter who never had any?
