Watching this fight after losing with a normal team like 6 times in a row gave me the inspiration I was missing. I was so stuck on the 2nd hair coupon trigger and thought “damn he’s fast, I can’t stagger him before he does it, how am I going to attack first, man if only there was an easy base ego that could slow him down” Then I looked at Ishmael and I audibly shouted out loud “THE BINDS THE BINDS THE HARPOON”
"The difficulty spike is vertical" And a normal player like me totally feels it, but then there are these pro-mountain climbers out here just having their fun.
I knew it was possible but gave up after several attempts. 1:29 is how they'll usually get me. If the enemy rolled just 2 more heads this run would be a dud too. I'm curious how much time it takes to make those videos, might be hours of retries.

This is realy imprisive. I would love to say this game with just base id is beatable but he is using 3 star id support passives. Still though this was really cool to see.
Ego resources are generated whenever a sinner uses a skill. The sin type generated corresponds to the sin type of the skill used. The skill needs to actually activate to generate any resources, though, so if a sinner gets staggered before they move in a turn, for example, they won't generate any resources.
Of course not. The boss was defeated due to the damage from support passives, which provided +80% additional damage which allowed him to stun Ricardo and then finish him off. Without this, he had zero chance of bringing the boss to such a state

You can totally beat it with just base IDs and base E.G.O, its literally the first thing I did after beating the fight with my regular team.

Also note that even losing the clash, the sin affinity of the skill will still be earned as ego resources.
