  • With the DeWalt 23GA Pin Nailer your finer work will look even better. The 20V battery delivers up to 2,000 pin nails per charge and the brushless motor helps to sink 23GA pins from 5/8" to 1-1/2" in length. A dual safety trigger eliminates the need to depress the tip of the nailer. No tools are needed to clear a jam or to adjust the drive depth of the pin nail. DeWalt covers this tool for 3-years and they are available now for purchase.

    After watching so many tool review channels over the years I can tell which companies send what tools to those channels to review because everyone makes a video on the same tool days apart I’ve lost count how many reviews of this pin nailer I’ve watched in the past week lol 😂 great review though Tim!

      You are somewhat on the right track. The problem recently (past ~2 years) is supply chain. Just a couple of the tool companies have kept their stock up, and the rest get their products in waves. We wait forever on some stuff. Thanks for watching.

    Liked and subbed as soon as I saw you push the cartridge of nails up through the chamber area to clear that out. I've just lost an hour on $100,000 closet I'm installing trying to figure out how to get to a partial nail jammed up in there. Thank you very much.

      What's this good for? I'm looking for a nail to make a wooden breakfast tray with small compartments...like a nick-nack tray. Is this the right tool for that? The wood panels I'm thinking of are between 1/4 and 1/2 thick

      That thin metal push in there once you get it opened up? That can slide way back and let you clear out stuff that you can't immediately see. That's what fixed it for me. Pushed it way back and found a bunch of little mangled nail pieces

    • @HairIsaBird

      I've been replacing my Milwaukee M12 pin nailer every 1-3 months at HD since it was first released. I'm probably on my 40th one after replacing my 39th yesterday because Milwaukee's pot metal nail driver keeps snapping off or rounding when firing 1-1/4 nails through MDF into MDF.
      I'm not joking, the Ryobi 23ga pin nailer is the most reliable by far. I've tried every revision of the Makita, the hitachi/metabo, and the Milwaukee, but ryobi is the only nailgun I can trust as a backup when the others fail.
      Reliability aside, the Milwaukee is the best one of all in every category. It's just not built for 2000-3000 feet of millwork/baseshoe a week

    This tool isn't released in the UK yet but I'm keen to add it to my DeWalt kit. In the UK it's called the XR system. In the states it's called 20V max. Does anyone know if the batteries are interchangeable from both systems? They look identical.

    • @ericrmccormick
      @ericrmccormick 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Not lagging behind both methods have positives and negatives to consider. A choice and design decision is made deliberately. For example the trapped compressed air system Milwaukee any Ryobi use ofter causes the nail gun to be off center so on one side it is impossible to get into tight corners because of the gas chamber protruding.

    different topic i know..but i think y'all will get my point. Bought a craftsman corded drill 30 years ago(still working) for about 42 bucks with tax and about 20 years ago bought a battery powered craftsman for around 76 bucks and was a paper weight 3 years later. So at this point $1.42 per year for the corded(getting cheaper every year) and $25 per year for the battery. My Bostitch nailer and compressor are now 15 years old. Lesson learned kiddos. We have been lead down the Primrose path....just get the cord

    Sssoooo, i have one of these, and after about a year of nearly daily use, the driver blade has a broken tip, and has a groove in the back of the blade that captures nails before they leave the gun. It's a fun time when you're nailing up crown and the nailer gets stuck to your work. So far, no response from Dewalt on a replacement driver, so its basically garbage ar this point. Sure, its convenient, until it's not. As much as i hate dragging out a compressor and hose, I hate prying my nail gun off of crown moulding even more. #SENCORULES #DEWALTHASNOPARTSFORTHIS #DISPOSABLENAILER

      Pin nailer are useless for people who don't know how to use them or don't know what they are used for. I've been a trim carpenter for 10 years. Their is a lot of things the gun is usefull for. When shooting into small material it works a lot better than an 18 gauge nailer which typically can blow right threw the material
