What Charles Hoskinson (founder of Cardano/ADA) said the other day raised some concerns. He mentioned that if DeFi were seriously implemented using Bitcoin (BTC), it could make all altcoins obsolete within 24 months. This wouldn’t necessarily be due to Bitcoin's superior technology, but rather because of its overwhelming market dominance, making it nearly impossible for other cryptocurrencies to compete. This is why Hoskinson is reportedly working with XRP and BTC to ensure that ADA doesn't get left behind. It's a bit alarming to think about. What do you all think of this?
BTC might be market leader and will be great medium term, but BTC can't do what a number of ALT coins can, such as speed, cost to use, environment, and it can't scale. So this won't happen
Why can't people see that Charles Hoskinson is a snake? And if the cards were on his side and he were winning in the situation he wouldn't be complaining and trying to get a whole other community xrp to jump on the bandwagon of "fight the system". He would just laugh at the other people and say too bad, my chain is getting picked. Wake up please.
