    love this video!! I graduate from my LPN program in a few months and this is really helpful in deciding if I want to start out in a hospital vs LTC

    Hi Mia! Great video, however your sound is kind of low I could barely hear you. I can’t wait until I’m done with LPN. I will be done in July and it will be here before we know it. My goal is to work for about a year maybe two and bridge to get my RN. Are you going back for yours? I want to be a NICU nurse but that may change once I go through my clinical rotations.

      Sorry about the sound, my recording volume may have been a little too low. I’ll see if i can fix that 😀. At this time, i don’t plan on going back for RN, my plan is to cross over into healthcare administration

    I wanted to go to school for lpn but in the state of Pennsylvania at our top hospitals lpn start at 17.92 and I just think that is too low🥴

      Well I'm in Georgia so base pay is on the lower side between $24-25/hr. My facilities shift differential is between $3-5/hr

    Great video! I recently moved back to Florida from Georgia and I start next week on a Medsurg unit at one of hospitals here and I was wondering how do the RNs treat you on your unit? In Georgia I worked at a rehabilitation hospital and we all worked great as a team! I never worked with any rude or on a power trip nurses but I have heard some stories about working in the hospital, so I’m hoping I get the same great experience in the hospital as I did in my previous job.

      We all work together as a team, heck sometimes they even ask me for advice. Idk about day shift, but night shift works really well together.

    Does the hospital pay more for lpn than a ltc or is it about the same?

    • @NurseMiaLPN2
      @NurseMiaLPN2  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It depends on the facility I guess. I get paid more simply for the shift differential. You always make more at the hospital working nights and weekends

    • @Nobodystan721
      @Nobodystan721 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No, hospitals pay on how many years you been a nurse. LTC pays more
