In this video I take you through the items recovered from the home address of Scarlett Jenkinson, In connection with the case of Brianna Ghey. #ScarlettJenkinson #briannaghey
I have to agree the thought they had a list to kill other children . And the fact she sed she wanted to take Briannas heart as a souvenir!!!!!! These kids should never be released
I do wonder whether police ever revealed to the other individuals on those lists that their names were being discussed by Scarlett and Eddie as potential victims
The police have always been just adequate. We don’t have the equivalent of the fbi in this county drawing from the best universities. Investing more money into the police , as Labour did, begat noting. Crime levels have been falling for years. The police we have is fine for the resource we give them and the challenge they face
No psychological rehabilitation is possible in my own personal opinion. What they did is pure evil. They’re dangerous children and will be dangerous adults.
The same was said about the killers of James Bulger and one of them has done really well for himself since his release. The other not so much but Thompson is married with kids, worked the same job for years and hasn't been involved with the police since he was released
@@lorrainewadsworth6977 True. But was the shoddy policing due to evil or was it due to negatively affected service levels? In this context I don't think evil is applicable. However, relating to the crime itself, I personally believe that minds can be warped by environmental stressors or be a congenital defect, but infiltration by the diabolo itself just isn't plausible. I think better quality and quantity of public services does lead to better standards of living and reduced levels of crime be it violent or not.
That's think it was Scarlett's mum who rang the police to say her daughter had been in the park area where Brianna had been found. I'm not sure what she knew at that point, but she was doing the right thing. She also seems to be in contact with Brianna's mum and has thanked her for her support and talked about the shock and horror and how sorry they are. I really don't think there was any parental washing of bloody clothes or hiding weapons, as some are suggesting in the comments.
Just cus they got caught doesn’t mean that the police are not incompetent. This is one of the easiest cases for police ever. They did nothing to try and cover their tracks.
Thanks for this Jon. It seems ludicrous that there are financial restraints on testing of items in this case and quite possibly many more too. How can this be acceptable when millions of £'s are spent on things happening in areas outside of the UK. Surely the funding for police matters, the NHS and other critical services should not be minimised when money is somehow never in short supply when the government decides to dish it out elsewhere on a daily basis.
You mustn't be in the UK. Every service has been decimated during 14 years of Tory asset stripping. I mean really. And lots of scientists, doctors and technical people have gtfo to work in other European countries and Aus/NZ.
Can you begin to imagine how his mum felt after the fact., utterly sickening. 3 families lost their 'children's that day. Evil to the core and yet so young. Frightening.
I always feel bad for the parents - these, Lucy Letby's, Chris Watts. It's very easy and popular to paint them as demons after the fact, but unless there's a history of abuse then it's unwarranted. I think the shock of finding my child had done this would kill me tbh.
To be fair his dad has been convicted since for underage photos. Which is obviously repellent. But I think that was his dirty little secret rather than something directly affecting the family, terrible though the crime is.
That is absolutely shocking regarding financial constraints and restricted access for the forensic scientists. Sounds like Scarlett was right regarding police being shite...
Well actually she was wrong, she was caught and arrested within 24 hours of the murder. A piece of evidence missed is sometimes normal. I agree they’re seen as incompetent but it’s Cheshire police and they do have a track record for ‘overlooking things’ and ‘missing stuff.’
@@marieperry109 they caught her but they are still shite. The police all over the UK let victims down and generally appear not fit for purpose. That's a sad fact
@@marieperry109 So if they routinely miss things and make assumptions instead of investigating then she was right to think they're shite, these two were caught due to being seen by a member of the public and cctv, and then there was the evidence, they more or less convicted themselves, so it seems to be that the small part the police played in all this was a shitshow .....
There is a video with one of teachers discussing that scarlett moved to brianna school 10 weeks before the murder from another one. Its weird behaviour that she hadn't known Eddie for long before planning a murder with him.
The biggest issue I have with this, is that you take Scarlett's word as any way reliable. You were in the courtroom, the judge said that all she did was lie. I wouldn't hold so much weight on her saying the bin bags weren't in the room while she lived there, and I definitely wouldn't trust her memory of any of the events.
@@paulawilkinson6341 her mother might not have even gone near the room. I don’t know how she processed her grief in all of this. For all I know it could be anything from trying to protect her daughter, to just not being able to go near her room after what‘s happened, or anything in between. But the thing is, I can still think of many plausible reasons why she might not have found them, and I can see no plausible reason to believe anything that came out of Scarlett‘s mouth.
I was wondering if the forensics was done by the Forensic Science Service or a private sector firm. Upon a bit of research I now know that in 2010 HMG closed the FSS because "The UK Government announced the closure of the FSS in December 2010, citing monthly losses of up to £2m as justification" Wow. Why would a state forensic service be expected to make a profit? It's preposterous. This does explain why we hear so much about all the private labs in the UK. I thought they complimented the presumably busy FSS, I had no idea they were a replacement. So there we have it. UK police forces have to budget their forensic evidence as they cant have evidence tested inhouse. This is a scandal and the proposal to close the service should have been newsworthy and more widely known. Even in the uber free market United States most law enforcement agencies most notably the FBI have inhouse forensic services. In any event this at least answers the question as to why the force couldn't afford to test as much as they would have otherwise liked to. Great video. Thanks for taking the time to cover these case, I particularly was fascinated by your courtroom coverage of the Letby case and I hope you can cover another trial soon.
Well said, and well understood - as opposed to the usual YT fckwittery that sits around whining that the police are useless. What you describe affects every public service in the country now. Which is why health, law and order, child protection, adult social care and everything else is on its knees.

I follow politics closely (and worked in it for over 20 years) and somehow missed this. Its staggering the reason given was that it was losing money - thats a new one on me. Will we be closing prisons next because they aren't profitable? Unbelievable.
I do wonder whether police ever revealed to the other individuals on those lists that their names were being discussed by Scarlett and Eddie as potential victims
Doubt it. Why would they burden that phycological impact on a child when they would be better off blissfully unaware? There would be zero benefit of them knowing so.
Truly heinous crime. As for him being almost genius level, this is probably the sloppiest murder I've ever seen and would argue that his intelligence levels are much lower than where they should be.
The film of her being arrested. I know she squeezed a tear out, but her whole affect is more appropriate for someone whose been on a shoplifting spree in Superdrug, and whose chickens have come home to roost with a knock on the door by the coppers. I'm interested whether she didn't understand the true seriousness and horror of what she's done, or whether she did but thought at this stage she could blag her way out of it.
I have a fascination with handwriting. The female killers screams of obsessiveness and psychopathy. Especially strange as her mother was a school teacher.
Absolute pseudo science. There's no evidence whatsoever you can accurately predict character traits like psychopathy using handwriting. You can't just make up your own science.
What does her mother being a school teacher have to do with it? Plenty of school teachers kids have terrible handwriting and do not murder anyone. Plenty of killers have beautiful handwriting and their mothers were not school teachers. What's your point?
Handwriting isn't indicative of anything and it's stupid to say otherwise. No offence , ASPD ( psychopathy) is a very specific mental condition with very specific criteria outlined in the DSM5. It has nothing to do with someone's handwriting! I'm a third year psychology student, this post comes off as completely silly to me
That is what i was wondering re why no blood on her clothes or shoes. “Financial constraints”? No access for forensics until 2 days later? I am amazed at this revelation. Really cant think why the paper evidence found on the floor not discovered earlier. In fact i cant understand any of this type of investigation.
I agree it looks like the police may have failed to find Scarlett's clothing from the murder, which she may have disposed of. But WAIT.. the handwritten note suggests something else VERY SIGNIFICANT that the police may have failed to find. Since many of the details in that plan were followed pretty accurately by the murderers, the note clearly suggests there were TWO knives!! Since Scarlett writes a plan where Eddie stabs Brianna from the back as Scarlett stabs her in the stomach!! I think they had a knife each and she has successfully disposed of hers.
She says she washed the clothes when she got home. And although the texts exchanged prior to the murder mention once her having a 'chefs knife' she later admitted (post conviction) to taking his knife off him mid attack, so she could have a go.
@@juliew1824 as the uploader notes, what she says to others is lies and misdirection, I think what she wrote in her note to the lad is closer to the truth.
I don't assume she's telling the truth but what she did say was harmful to herself. Some reports indicate they did find the clothes but there was no blood on them
I mean, even with financial constraints, they could crowd fund this testing in like a day. There's a great deal of public interest and the people want to have answers.
I dont understand how the parents can be totally oblivious to the behaviours and actions of they're own children. Scarlet must have been able to do whatever, whenever. Blinkers.
Sloppy police work 🚩cases would be solved a lot quicker if protocols were followed. All those hours of 'searching'. Knowing them they probably made some snacks & watched some television
2 hours before she got arrested and charged by those white police, and convicted and will now spend, at the very least, life till middle age and beyond locked up. Looks like she was wrong about that too.
They really, really would! Even a woman on FB was messaging Scarlett saying isn't that dead girl the one I just saw you with in the park. Along with the written descriptions and plans. Along with the witnesses who were walking the dog. And the rest of it.
I think the mobile phone conversations between Brianna and Scarlett together with the CCTV captures + the dog walkers close hand sighting of the pair would have led the police to Scarlett with or without Scarlett's mum's call.
What gets me confused is why her mother never found any of this in her room ! As a mother of teenagers they never clean there rooms . So us mums go in there rooms to make the beds , take in clean washing an get the plates they take in there . Considering her mother was a teacher she surely must of noticed changes in her behaviour watching them horrific killers . For a child to be addicted to these movies there would of been changes in her .
Unless you suspected your child was a killer, you’d not notice anything odd. What kind of mother would suspect their baby was a murderer? You only notice/connect things when you’re looking for them, otherwise it’s just “stuff”. What an absolute horror to know your child is a killer. It’s just inconceivable, hence blocking out any evidence that might indicate this. We all do this, it’s how the brain works.
Also it was just writing or online. Also autistic kids as I believe this girl was could have been very tidy. Put up a good exterior so her mum didn’t think anything was off. They can be highly Manipulative. You are just a pawn in their game of their true intentions. Believe me I know exactly how this works. Her mum probably thought great she’s doing her homework she’s writing loads.
I always had to clean when I was a teen. It was my job, started doing it when I was just a kid. Didn't kill me and I thank my parents for the upbringing I had.
Well her parents also seemed unaware that from 13, she was watching horror films for hours on end , finding them 'exciting' not scary: & also going onto dark web murder & torture sights. Source: female psychologist on the Documentary on the Daily Mails website. Her mother is a teacher. Sge should be v aware re safeguarding & monitoring internet use & child control apps for childrens internet use.
Brianna was murdered on 11 Feb, and these two were arrested on 12 Feb. How many times would you have done a forensic clean of their bedroom and a full psychiatric assessment in less than 24 hours? Police weren't sat around scratching their head thinking, well we're stumped. They identified and arrested them almost immediately!
I believe that the expensive forensic costs have a bit to do with the coalition government selling off the organization that did it for UK police forces.
@@silver4831 did you miss the bit that there were a handful of other potential victims on the kill list who weren’t trans? This pair was more sick in the head than just transphobia.
She lived with her parents her mum could of been clearing her stuff out if she’d been remanded?! They might not of been there to find on the first search
This all is very disturbing vis-a-vis the competence of Eddie's barrister. The CCTV footage of the pair meeting Brianna at the bus stop clearly shows Scarlett had a black tank top, black culottes, trainers and a burgundy coat which may have tassels from its base. So, it is clear that forensic evidence from a "red top" is useless and "leggings" sounds suspect. From the items listed, no wonder none of Brianna's blood was found on Scarlett's clothes! This needed to be thoroughly explored by Eddie's barrister in court. After all, Eddie's defence was that Scarlett inflicted the wounds and he only got blood on himself when stooping over Brianna. And now, Scarlett has admitted to the psychologist that she indeed stabbed Brianna "lots of times". Convictions have been overturned by the Court Of Appeal for much less (yes indeed, Ched Evans). It also raises questions over whether the parent(s) of Scarlett and Eddie should be charged with assisting offenders. How much washing did Scarlett's mother do?...
No she wasnt. She had a burgundy red cardigan, wrap or similar top on over a black square necked t-shirt or similar underneath. Red top is perfectly adequate to describe it. No coat at all. And the black bottoms could be described as trousers or leggings. Not all leggings are skin tight like gym clothes. Leggings or jeggings describes trousers with an estimated waist and usually no zip or button band.
why is everyone assuming the parents helped to wash the clothes? most 15 year olds are able to operate a washing machine, it's not that hard. Why would they risk involving their parents?
@@SomeoneBeginingWithI Nobody washed Eddie's clothes. He just bunged them in his wardrobe. Hence the forensic evidence of them being covered in Brianna's blood. As for Scarlett, there was washing on the kitchen floor when the police arrived. That is, a few hours after Scarlett told her Mum she'd been out with Brianna the previous day and her Mum then phoned the police. Scarlett immediately texted Eddie to warn him and received no reply. Now, if you were Scarlett's Mum in that situation, would you not start asking a few questions of your daughter? Someone did a good deal of washing in the Jenkinson household immediately before the police arrived. If that was Mum washing bloodied clothes or even Mum allowing Scarlett to use the washing machine to wash bloodied clothes, Mum has committed a criminal offence.
In the CCTV you can see she’s wearing leggings not a dress - that would seem to be an incorrect recollection by a witness. Having said that - very odd that no blood was found on any of her clothing.
On the day that this happened I was taking my son out for his usual afternoon walk, we always went down the linear and walked the entire thing then back home, we left the house at about 1400 and for some unknown reason we just decided to go to a different place nearby for our walk, round black hill and the ponds, I can’t help but think that if we’d had gone our usual route then we may have found her, can’t even imagine what her parents are going through
Elizabeth Lotus is very famous for eye witness testimony. What people remember is often interfered with imagination; meaning people misremember and this becomes worse with time. It is very common for the clothing description to be wrong. People remember the event but not the fine details. The memory also changes the word used in the question. For example using the word 'smashed' will give a different answer than the word 'crashed'. Human memory is very flawed.
people are saying she may have a bad upbringing, and that maybe true. but a good upbringing can cause problems too, especially if all the attention has been on them and theyve basically had a silver spoon in their mouth all their lives. people like that dont like it if other people are gettin attention and not them
This is really sad! She was just a kid & i cannot imagine why they would want to kill her, unless it was her sexuality that they had a problem with.. Either way it was a sick thing to do & i hope they get a suitable sentence although anything less than a whole life tariff would be a let off & based on the way our legal system operates today they will be given a light sentence because of their youth! Something brianna did not get to enjoy.. R.I.P brianna..
The reason why scarlet wanted to kill her, was because scarlet had dark murder fantasies and a desire to kill, scarlet actually liked Brianna, but saw she was vulnerable enough that she could feed her desire by killing her.
Just a word to the wise, and I'm not having a go at you for what you said but being Trans is a Gender Identity not someone's sexuality. It would seem from the what the judge stated at sentencing that Eddie used dehumanising language about Brianna, referring to her as "It" and also made multiple Transphobic comments about her. Scarlett didn't so I don't think her reason for killing Brianna was related to her Gender.
The blame lies solely with these two evil individuals. They should be sentenced as adults and never released. However, how can parents allow their children to turn out like this? There was obviously no discipline in either house.
No coat in February? It can be a little mild but everyone else was wearing coats so Scarlett must have. She wouldnt have just been wearing leggings and a top
They will be probably get released from jail in years to come for good behaviour and walk free seems to be the norm these days especially teenagers who commit murder makes no sense at all
Like im not blaming either set of parents but how can this evil just go so unnoticed...there has to be clues or vibes ... especially in the 2 mothers youd maybe not want to admit it but surely there would be red flags waving round?
4:45 I do have a certain level of amusement at how people like this see psychopaths as having “genius”. Firstly it’s because they want to think they are a genius too, which feeds into their narcissism. Now fair to say a psychopath is usually high functioning but the “genius” bit is usually how a psychopath considers themselves and the types of psychs at court who fall for the sort of crap the one defending the boy did. They miss the basic things they get wrong, which is a good indication that the psychopath isn’t a genius they’ve just studied a very small area of certain things very thoroughly but usually don’t have the motivation to to study these things properly. So if you scratch below the surface to a basic level, you’ll find they have massive gaps on knowledge about the basics. This is because the basics are boring and the narcissistic side of their personality assumes they already know the basic stuff so don’t need to study it. It isn’t rocket science but I’m shocked how many experts don’t pick up on this.
Very informative Jon, the police are culpable in this case case a sloppy investigation from the start of an awful crime. It has just struck me that after visiting the scene twice the photos of the police searching the woods is all wrong they are not looking in the right place where the murder was committed why was the scene left to rot for 48 hours before the forensics team appeared?
Because nothing makes a YT? audience feel smarter than it is than sitting on its arse slagging off the police. Even when they've just seen a horrible case through to conviction. It's wearying, isn't it.

I think what they don’t understand is how the autistic mind works. It follows things to the last possible degree no matter what rabbit holes it leads to. Also won’t budge in that thought process even if it’s against social norms. Unless they are taken out of normal world and into another forcing them to do the right ting then they can be industrious in that. It has to feel valued. Unfortunately the parents couldn’t know how bad things were with this girl. It’s truly startling and can only get worse with the mental health crises we are facing.
Imagine her parents not having the slightest concern that their 15yr old daughter writes like a 5 yr old. How about ‘briannas’ clothing. Who lets their child leave the house looking like that. Maybe it’s just me then. Parents need to start checking on what their kids are up to.

Were the financial constraints because of the clear volume of forensic evidence? Also budgets for police etc are pushed. Bec the police haven't done their job properly, I'm expecting her to appeal. Without the blood evidence, she could say the handwritten notes were just a joke & she was shocked & begged Eddy not to stab the girl. Scarlet would have been wearing a coat, and they should have ceased all her clothes including the ones she had just washed
If it was scrunched up on the floor they will have found it.. it’s all hearsay. She’s now been sentenced and all the notes were mentioned! This is how to flesh out content.
The hand writing shows the lack of schooling. But it does indicates an organized devious mind. Ironic that the note had a small love heart at the top corner shouts out to you that she lacks a healthy conscience which came out in the trial. Worrying that Police were not on point with the evidence. Seeing her with makeup then the mug shot, show's the real person behind the mask. But hearing more of the notes I have no doubt the sentence was way too short. The she so immature to leave it lying around but it did contain future plans to do similar and the same again, therefore she kept them along with her collection of memorabilia. They were probably precious to her. She was the ringleader.
Each one of our police forces have their own budgets, payed for by your council tax, so no two police forces have the same budgets, and they really do have to use thrift when using outsourced expensive processes like DNA or scientific support and so on, sad but true and that's the reason why we have such a shoddy police service.

I was thinking the same. She could of purchased bin bags to chuck away her clothes or other evidence.
yep this guy likes to provoke, i can tell by the ' is lucy letby innocent' videos........
Completely agree., manipulation all the way.
The incompetence of the police is astounding, and it’s always been since their inception. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction
You can thank David Cameron for that.
Theresa May was Home Secretary at the time.@@cosmosadorabilis7677 In any event subsequent Home Secretary's should have brought it back in-house.
They probably did
Doubt it. Why would they burden that phycological impact on a child when they would be better off blissfully unaware? There would be zero benefit of them knowing so.
Tbh one of thr most shocking things here are all the handwrittem notes! (My teenager only uses electronic devices)
I don't know if that shows intelligence or negligence
Truly heinous crime. As for him being almost genius level, this is probably the sloppiest murder I've ever seen and would argue that his intelligence levels are much lower than where they should be.
They must have redefined the level for genius to a pretty low bar.
Thank you for the content man, The justice system needs to be reinvented in some areas, keep up the good work yeah :)
The tear is for the fact shes realised the police ain't as daft as she thinks they are.
This is messed up,what were the “investigators” thinking?
I have a fascination with handwriting. The female killers screams of obsessiveness and psychopathy.
Especially strange as her mother was a school teacher.
The lack of spacing between words is odd.
hand writing means nothing mine is like this lol
👍 Good point. Unless the knives were very similar, the autopsy should be able to determine that. Perhaps it was missed.

Knowing them they probably made some snacks & watched some television
tbf she said it best 'the police are shite around here" lololol
2 hours before she got arrested and charged by those white police, and convicted and will now spend, at the very least, life till middle age and beyond locked up. Looks like she was wrong about that too.
Shite, not white!
Interesting handwriting
Wot makes u fink dat ?
Why would you need to write out that anyway !????
Twisted evil mind. Us sane people will never understand it
It's for show. She thought who she was trying to be was cool, so she wanted to validate that persona tangibly.
I doubt the police would have caught them if Scarlett's mum hadn't phoned them.
UK police couldn't catch a cold, useless
This case makes me so sick. How can young people with normal upbringing be so sick and evil.
County is full of transphobia unfortunately.
Leggings or jeggings describes trousers with an estimated waist and usually no zip or button band.
ps and no culottes in sight! Have you watched the right film?
why is everyone assuming the parents helped to wash the clothes? most 15 year olds are able to operate a washing machine, it's not that hard.
They look so young wow. Rip brianna. 💖
On the day that this happened I was taking my son out for his usual afternoon walk, we always went down the linear and walked the entire thing then back home, we left the house at about 1400 and for some unknown reason we just decided to go to a different place nearby for our walk, round black hill and the ponds, I can’t help but think that if we’d had gone our usual route then we may have found her, can’t even imagine what her parents are going through
There are ALWAYS financial constraints thats why they miss vital evidence
Absolutely disgraceful that there are financial constraints against an investigation of this importance.
Did no one teach Scarlett the concept of a 'finger space'?
How to conduct a room search must be one of the first things you learn at training surely?
That's what a murderer looks like. Don't be fooled.
she's 15 and u can't look like a murderer u can never know who is a murderer
I believe Eddie was the one who used the knife, not her, hence why no blood stains. Eddie had blood on him and also cuts and scratches.
His dad is also a vile person. He’s a convicted child abuser.
Foolish. Wasteful. Tragic!
locked up brilliant
Elizabeth Lotus is very famous for eye witness testimony. What people remember is often interfered with imagination; meaning people misremember and this becomes worse with time. It is very common for the clothing description to be wrong. People remember the event but not the fine details. The memory also changes the word used in the question. For example using the word 'smashed' will give a different answer than the word 'crashed'. Human memory is very flawed.
Looks like the handwriting of my friends 8yr old daughter.
She was still writing kill lists whilst on remand
people are saying she may have a bad upbringing, and that maybe true. but a good upbringing can cause problems too, especially if all the attention has been on them and theyve basically had a silver spoon in their mouth all their lives. people like that dont like it if other people are gettin attention and not them
Did the police evidence categorically state that the laundry wasnt examined?
So sad.
The police consider themselves above going through rubbish. This sounds like a silly comment, but it's really true!
Ultimately, they were convicted and are in prison, so it's neither here nor there about when they found the note etc.
The Death Penalty for these 2 evil sadistic Demons is the only sentence that should have been imposed.
Those two kids are evil.
She clearly has watched Netflix documentaries on serial killers..gacy, Ramirez and Dahmer all Netflix
Why’s it sloppy, they’re in prison....
Because if the two who are now in prison had anything about them there is a big chance they would have got away with this horrific crime.
The kids were dripping in evidence

I think what they don’t understand is how the autistic mind works. It follows things to the last possible degree no matter what rabbit holes it leads to. Also won’t budge in that thought process even if it’s against social norms. Unless they are taken out of normal world and into another forcing them to do the right ting then they can be industrious in that. It has to feel valued. Unfortunately the parents couldn’t know how bad things were with this girl. It’s truly startling and can only get worse with the mental health crises we are facing.
Did you attend their trials at all?
Imagine her parents not having the slightest concern that their 15yr old daughter writes like a 5 yr old. How about ‘briannas’ clothing. Who lets their child leave the house looking like that. Maybe it’s just me then. Parents need to start checking on what their kids are up to.

Good thing she didn't clean her room
Bec the police haven't done their job properly, I'm expecting her to appeal. Without the blood evidence, she could say the handwritten notes were just a joke & she was shocked & begged Eddy not to stab the girl.
Scarlet would have been wearing a coat, and they should have ceased all her clothes including the ones she had just washed
That wouldn’t work. The police obtained digital exchanges between the pair. So there’s lots of evidence she was involved in the planning.
Mean while cops have made it illegal to use your phone while in MacDonald's car park aka you get 6 points....
@katiebrady7361 yes, the planning but she could argue that she couldn't go through with it (without dna evidence)
