I am having the same problem. I tried everything I even factory reset it and it didn’t work and I thought everybody said the PS 5 was good, and I’m not paying what Sony wants to fix it so I might save up and buy an Xbox and never have another PlayStation ever again
Hi bud , i tried to updates all possible way but once software updates its show "somthing went wrong " wondering if you have any experience for this ? thanks
@Hossein Azmoodeh I know how to fix it. We need to go to safe mode and chose option 7. However, I can't even choose option 7 because I need the PREVIOUS firmware update. Playstation refuses to provide it. Playstation only provides the most recent update firmware. So even when I factory reset, I can't buy games or sign into a Playstation network until I get the older last version. If you click on option 7, it will tell you what software you need to resolve this issue. Update may work if you get the previous firmware as well
Yep this will be the last PlayStation I buy Sony is useless and won’t say anything about how to fix, I can’t update it either way which is by internet and USB stuck in safe mode tried everything nothing is working
@@yrnjc9389 sadly no my PS5 was still returnable I ended up swapping it for a new one. I did file a report with PlayStation and they were going to look at my ps5 but I never sent it to them.
My PS5 gets an error anytime the update finishes installing. Internet or USB . I can't even get out of safe mode at this point . Thought I could reset to factory but it immediately tries to install the update and then gives me the error and says turning off your PS5 and gives me a countdown sometimes. I gave up and been playing my PS4. 🤢
Mine STILL won't take reinstall or software update... It keeps saying SOMETHING WENT WRONG, SOMETHING WENT WRONG. SMH.. So frustrating.. Anyone want a ps5 disk edition?
WHEN YOU HIT THE EJECT BUTTON DOES IT BEEP? IF NOT YOUR ISSUE IS THE PS5 AND BLU RAY DRIVE IS NOT CONNECTED I HAD THE SAME ISSUE I OPENED IT UP AND REATTACHED THE RIBBONS OF THE BLU RAY DRIVE AND IT WORKED
Downloads it then says something went wrong counts down tries again then still nothing. Finally can manage to get it back on, but then it says i cant play games wit network feature til i update 😬😮💨 havent tried the USB yet tho

I just bought a Ps5 because everyone was bugging me I cut it on it updates then crashes comes on on safe mode then says get a usb and update it manually I have no laptop and why the fuk should I go buy one I decided to take it back and never Buy another PlayStation ever again Thanks PlayStation who the fuk uses a laptop anymore we use our phones

I can't get passed safemode so this video does nothing for me. I'm in a endless loop of safemode than download using internet to can't update restart ps5 back to error than repeat the loop. It's endless can't play ps5. Back to PC fk ps5.

@chilldudethegamer20 did you ever clean your ps5 if so check the disc connections something might be loose that was my problem and finally worked

The initial software update you get when you take it right out of the box is loading at an ungodly rate and got no idea
Hell inlest yours is working mine crashed after updating and won’t do Shid without a usb drive Manuel update
