      If you shower in the am to get ready, I used to shower before my fireguard shift.

      hopefully you've also been researching how to eat superfast (especially for reception where you're only allowed five minutes to eat), how to shower superfast (at least during my first week of basic, we were only allowed just 60 seconds max to shower. we were allowed more time later on but still only a few minutes at longest), and how to stand still for a really long time (in reception especially you will be in formations lasting several hours at a time, even at night when you're done processing for the day, not only for "hurry up and wait" but also for mindgames)

    You must have done basic at Fort Jackson. Our drill sergeant didn’t let us use our sleep system. And one of the drill sergeants would come in right before lights out and make us mess our bed up so we would have to make it in the morning.

Put everything where it needs to go for inspection- and then put the most used items in your second pair of boots. I know this because my drill through my locker out of the second story window when he seen a brush not in the proper spot"

    I'm just being honest bro, veteran to veteran...I don't know a single person who'd want to enlist in today's military. I'm sure there's a very small percentage, but have you been keeping up at all with what's going on inside of today's government/military? Not looking too hot. Just being 100% real and honest. I love your channel and what you do.

    • @TheBenAllen.
      @TheBenAllen.  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Hell man, I wouldn’t join again that’s for sure. These vids are just to help those individuals who do choose to join, sometimes it may be the only option for them or a dream they’ve had since they were young, regardless of what’s going on in the world there are always going to be some who still want to join, and I hope these vids can help make their time in a little easier if anything! I appreciate you commenting brotha!

    • @golfery5119
      @golfery5119 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was at jackson myself but know a lot of people who went to sill during different times of the year and talked about how windy it was, or how hot or cold it was. You might be able to deal with cold windy weather or hot weather, but keep in mind in the military especially the army and during tradoc you'l be standing and standing and standing around in formations in this weather nevermind doing outdoor training and exercising in it.
      military and army basic training is basic training so i don't know what you would mean by 'better"

      not 68C myself but know students in that mos that I had to stand in formations with. phase 2 is superlong and you get a lot of immature kids who would have gotten everyone smoked had they been in phase 1 or basic. of course it will be hard because it's superfast paced and quite a few people fail phase 2 if they don't fail phase 1.
