I have two theories about the parts where catnap is chasing a child. A- it's younger player who was once an orphan there and was influenced as an experimentor after being tested and possibly modified with toys. And this could be a memory of the players time there; why I think? Cat nap isn't aggressive to the child. Instead, it looked like a submissive animal, turning their head down to look less threatening. Second- it could be picky piggy being chased down by cat nap, since there were subtle hints that somthing was going to happen to piggy. " This is what he does to heretics. "
UPDATE: the player theory is also supported by the fact the poppy mentions US as being torchered, implying we, the player, as a subject of the experiments. And with all the implications- maybe the player came back because playtime co was their only " home." The only place they knew, and in a fit of feeling empty... and lost; they return to the only thing they can remember. Only finding an ecosystem of horrors and a mechanical god.

I just thought of a game were u travel through the wreck of the ss Poseidon but something mysterious is a foot because the interior doesn't have water in it but u can fully see that there are vines everywhere and j get chased by monsters left to right until u get to the ballroom and eventually die from a monster but then there's a cut scene of the ss Poseidon wreck falling off the underwater cliff it was on and creating a big explosion and we see that another ship called the ss triton cap sizes because of the explosion this takes place in 1995
