    After 300-500 rounds through my M4, it's the best reliable shot gun I have used !! I could run any kind of ammo through it flawlessly !! There is nothing wrong with a stock Benelli M4 and the Marine Corps that has used thousands of them can back that up claim !! BTW 45 weeks for return time ?? They should not be in business !!

    I’m was on the fence about this upgrade …I go to the range every week with a group of old high school friends, we all have M4’s and we’re thinking about calling TT for a group discount (9 of us) …A lot of your issues I’ve seen multiple videos….we’re gonna pass on this one…Appreciate your honesty

      They are taking care of me currently... it should be sent back to me either today or tomorrow... few issues on my gun, which I will explain on my next video coming up hopefully this week or start of next week!

    Best to keep a gun at the factory specification. You may want to upgrade minor cosmetics yourself but the major parts are best to keep it genuine.

    probably buy an OEM hammer spring for the light strikes. And buy an OEM follower if there isn't already one, or make sure the shell goes to the rear of the loading gate when using the match saver. sometimes the crimp of the shell can get caught up in the magazine causing the bolt to not close.

    • @chef.papa.6tango523
      @chef.papa.6tango523  ปีที่แล้ว

      Where were you a year ago lol... the follower was an issue we had, the shell lifter was filed down a bit and two spring were replaced.... part 4 of this series goes into this a bit more

    They DEFINITELY play w/ u on the turn around time. They'll give you every excuse in the book before shipping your firearm. I was quoted 8 months and got my 2 glocks back on month 16!

    Appreciate the honest review, a lot of people spend the money and then they just shill for the company because they drank the kool aide regardless how it runs. I like the stipple, I like the inletting and loading gate. Not sure the bolt and all that needs messing with. I basically did all the 922R stuff, freedom fighter bolt release which works beautifully, scalar works mount with a Trijicon RMR.

    I feel your frustration, which is understandable. The bottom line here is that they have managed to turn one of the most reliable shotguns, if not the most reliable, into one that is unacceptably unreliably and charge you almost the cost of the weapon to fu@k it up, as they have. If it were me, I would refuse to accept the firearm in its present condition and demand that they restore all the components to their original condition or face legal action for damages. I have a Benelli M4 and decided not to mess with the internals of the weapon. The M4 is a combat shotgun, not one suited for 3-gun competition, hunting, or trap/skeet shooting. If the weapon is good enough as is for the Marines and the armed forces of 20+ nations, it should be good to me. If there is a problem, other than a reliability issue, the problem is with me, not the gun. The only modifications I've made to mine are external, with the exception of the Taran lifter and an oversized safety button from Daves Metalworks. A flashlight is a must, so I also added an Impact Weapon light/sling attachment adapter. Other than that, the magazine is a titanium one-piece from Carrier Comp. None of this changes do or can impact the functioning of the weapon. If I need to revert back to the original condition of the weapon I can do that myself in a matter of minutes. Last but certainly first in importance is the Benelli warranty that could be rendered null and void once the original mechanism has been altered or modify. Hope you solved this issue and let us know the outcome of your bad experience with Taran Tactical. Thanks for sharing and good luck!

    You should contact Todd at freedom fighter tactical, he knows M4s. I did a lot of work my self. I did not mess with the internals except trigger.

      It seems you just wanted a very special gun that was already a very special gun? It would have be almost a one of as you would probably never see another? Nice try that just didn't work out!
      Every week in the CCW Class I see good intentioned folks come in with highly and expensively modified guns and they are shocked they often are quite temperamental to the point they fail the class? At the same time I see someone with a stock Glock 19 or a S&W Shield and there are no issues.
      Sounds as the company has gotten arrogant, sloppy, expensive and awful customer service? Oh and really slow.
      I have a m4 LE/Mil and my only mod is a really bright front night sight. Best of luck, your heart was in the right place.

    Hey bud, it's really a simple fix. I personally think you have your sidesaddle tightened on the shotgun to tight. It will majorly affect the cycling of the bolt. Try loosening your sidesaddle and i think that will fix your issues. Good luck bud
