Just so you know, s16-s23 are out of LOS or range of all the Italians in your setup. Given your setup, you could have snuck on to the hill from there with the commandos, gotten the high ground and would probably have singled out the scattered Italians (remember +2 DRM for leader plus height advantage is absolutely devastating statistically). Also, the first unit you entered was not in LOS (Italian group can’t see over the hill contour and when on hill you can only see over it if on a lip hex). Also, tactically, if you’re routinely get shot at with -1 or greater on the ICT, and esp with a +1 DRM added, you’re in a world of trouble
I will do something from "For the Empire" so there's a 50/50 chance (by the 7-7 scenario split) that it'll feature Canadians and they do have the Monte Cassino scenarios, so that's a point in their favor.
Think this is first video with gameplay for Vol 4. Thanks! One clarification - the final impulses by British Commando units at end of video: -1 DRM for firing after moving offset by +1 Commandos elite status? But should the Commandos have been able to move and “normal” fire 2x in the same turn (3 Limited Actions)? The unit would be deemed “Used” after move and first fire action ? Second fire action would be subject to intensive fire rule with -1 FP and -1 DRM?
I don’t yet have vol 4 and latest OST rules. Thought slight chance the Commandos perhaps had been given some kind of super power… By the way, I really appreciate all the effort you put into your OST videos (and your channel in general). Very helpful to see a game “in action” while learning rules, figuring out strategy and tactics, etc. I find trying to get all the rules right in a game is hard enough when i’m just playing the game with rule book in hand for frequent reference; I imagine it must be an exponentially greater challenge when you also have to focus on all the production aspects of making a video- and know that people like me are no doubt going to find a thing here and there that not quite aligned with the rules… :-). Anyway, thanks for all the content you put out there. Definitely of great value to people with interest in the topics covered.
Nice video! Don’t forget commandos can stealth move.
Thanks Keith - I did forget that.

Thanks! Appreciate the tips.
Also, instead of not doing something on a turn , you can roll for cover at the cost of one impulse.
Thanks again - that's another good tip!
Awesome video Joe. Would love to see a Canadian battle in the near future?

Yes, you're right. Thanks!
