- So I caught up with Ken Le recently at Bennett field in Fabulous Las Vegas recently and watched as he put his wonderful old Hirobo Super Cobra through it's paces! The story of how got this beautiful old bird back in 1999 is just as unique as the helicopter itself!

@@JustwingitRC no, I sold it to a guy whose name I can't remember. But I'm glad to see whose hands it wound up in. It must have a different exhaust now because it was much quieter when I flew it. It was very fast in forward flight. It has purpose-designed mechanics and really made great use of that small engine.

The pilots' heads moved along with the gun when I built it. Took me forever! Does it still have that functionality?

OMG Rodger!!! I just noticed this!!! Sometimes my notifications don't work! The LVRC club got the city council to realize that THEY needed to perform maintenance on the field...so they did!!! It's no longer a SWAMP!!!

@@rodgerhecht3623 Indeed it is! The field is quite usable now, and in fact, I heard from the club that the city of Las Vegas is even going to repave the runway in a couple of months!!!
Now that hell has been idle for a long time! Nice to see it still has it's fangs. You'd almost get bored with a 20min flight....or really brave with the sticks. It flies well. Good stuff. AirHammer out!!
