I just figured out the company who makes them. Herc Outdoors. I found them at a sport show and couldn't remember the name. Here's a link: hercoutdoors.com/product-category/portable-heaters/?product-category=accessories-portable-heaters
Is there a best advice? To locate walleye on shallow lake the deepest is 12 feet an I caught a nice 23 inch walleye on this lake but I was catching schools of crappies an I wanna know to locate them
The best advice would be to try and bunch of different things. If there are rocks or weeds in the lake, that would be a great place to start. And steeper breaks as well. Also worth looking right in the deepest hole in the lake.
@@NickLindnerthank u sir I really appreciate it I would show u what the map look like bc its a tricky lake bc there is big areas that doesn’t have a steep drop off. It has wide Depth but I’ll try it this weekend an I’ll let u know how it goes sir
Still using the 3lb line fishing for Walters? And do you have any issues with the floor sticking to the ice when you shovel out the base of the house like that?
I use mostly 6lb test for walleye. I’ll upsize from there for fisheries like Winnipeg. Shoveling or not shoveling, the only tiles that end up sticking a bit are the ones that stick outside
Good video Nick, thanks for the tips. When you’re out in the day running, do you tend to go out in deeper water that’s still somewhat close to structure?
For sure, but I’m looking all around to try and find the most fish. Sometimes that’s deep off structure, but other times I’ll setup up top of the structure or near cover (like rocks or weeds)
It would be really cool when show the area that you are at that you could do a dual view with Livescope and a Lakemap and as you scan around show the spot on a map.
I've got that same rattle rapa, I guess I'll have to give it a 2nd 3nd 4th chance never have much luck in the winter with rattle or ripping style baits, I have better luck with a swedish pimple a minnow head.
It can depend on that lake for sure. That said, there’s a window for it most places in my opinion. Although, mid-winter isn’t usually when the window is.
You're certainly living the life, Nick. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks for watching Blonko. Hope all is well!
Great video Nick. Love your set up, absolutely have it dialed in!
Thanks. I appreciate that
Cool setup there!! Agree with the shoveling and mats. You had a little better luck with the wind than Target Walleye!! He had an adventure!!
No doubt! I’m just happy my setup held up
Thanks Nick. Great advice on rattlebaits! Brett's experience taught us all a few lessons.
Safe to say it was an eventful little jaunt!
Another quality video! Great work Nick
Much appreciated Jered
Great video. I love the instructional tips that you throw in. Great job, very enjoyable.
Thanks Justin. Apprecaite you watching
Great video Nick!❤️🧊🎣
Thanks Evan!
Remember the video you made about getting fish back in the water quickly? Pepperridge farms remembers.
Idk. Pepperridge Farms needs to work on it's fish handling.
Nice job Nick, another great video
Thanks for watching Curtis!
Is the grate above your heater made to fit there or did you modify that yourself?
It was made to fit there. I can’t remember the name of the company that makes it unfortunately. I’ve had a few people ask

Awesome! Thanks for following up!
Nothing quite like sleeping on the ice and waking up with some hot coffee while jigging some fish.
Nailed it! That’s about as good as it gets
Damn😮😮😮😮😮
Wow Nick multi species smack down, ripping lips today. Great video today brother 😊
Thanks Matthew! Always fun to get out on the ice and smack a few different species
what shanty is that??
Is that the Herc outdoors grate on the heat hog? Looks like it. I bought one and love it.
Yup! Found their stuff at the Duluth Ice Show this winter. Impressive
Which tent do u have there I have the lodge?
It’s the Pro Lodge flip 👍
Cool video🙌🏻
Thanks man!

Did you wander over to waubay lake by chance?
Nope! But I need to get out there at some point here
What style of Otter House are you in?
This is the XT Pro Lodge flip over.

That’s a neat concept. I’ll definitely try that in future. That’s kind of like what I did in some of my “raw and uncut” videos this last summer.
Nice
That’s for watching Scott

Why'd you throw those keepers back??
Traveling + camping + filming + big storm. I didn’t want to deal with filleting and whatnot
If there's any chance of top water or slush deff don't shovel down to ice.
👍
Must have recorded this last Friday. Was out on Bitter with my Yetti, had a 5 foot drift around my by morning.
Yup, you nailed it!
