You should go retro and just hang a beaded curtain over the doorway of your bathroom so it’s semi covered but also see through so you can pretend to be modest when you have guests but also be wild and free when you’re alone

I don’t think this is possible but it would be so cool to add a door at the beginning of the hallway and then the bathroom would be in you room! The weird drawer thing in the bathroom is so that you can put your laundry hamper in the cabinet and just open that weird drawer and toss clothes in! It's supposed to both contain the messiness of laundry and also keep any smelly laundry from stinking up the whole place.
I love this apartment tour! On your bedside table, i don’t know if you sit in read in your bed but if you do you could put your book there. And in your bathroom, you said you don’t know what to put above your toilet but you could put a hook and have your towel hang on it. But i totally agree with you in having a million mirrors❤️

You are NEVER to old to LIVE the way you want.

I'm horrible with plants but every year I have a cousin who gifts me a poinsettia. I was over watering it until I found d a genius hack. Every day I put an ice cube in the pot. It slowly melts all day and gives it just enough daily water. The bigger plants would probably need 2 or 3 ice cubes, but the theory should still work.
For the bathroom you could ask if you could do a pocket door that just slides open (depending on what's in the walls) but an easier solution would be a little slider, I have one in my basement. I think it's plastic or vinyl or something. And it closes with a magnet.

I think that weird useless door thing in the bathroom the thing that was annoying you and your friend is actually meant to be a hamper opening that you can put your clothes in and then you have like a hamper underneath it. I think what you did was better though.
Wondering if your plants are upset by the move? Did they get damaged, or has their environ changed too much & they just need time to adjust? Have you said something to offend them; are they jealous, suffering sibling rivalry? Do they miss your old roommate? Or, do they need watered less now since it’s fall/winter & not their growing season…? Seriously, it’s so challenging to know. I recently bought a plant humidifier & most of mine are thriving with that, & I water them a little less. 🪴 💦 Suppose you could try a pocket door/retractable screen, but another convenient thing about no bathroom door is less steam from showers; steam isn’t good for meds when you store them in bathroom. 🚿 Is your medicine cabinet door on backwards or is that mirror image?
