Just tonight I was playing a round with some people who were playing seriously. Except they were suffering from reactor trouble and got jumpy whenever I went near it (for good reason). I was a security officer but thought "what the hell" and I sneakily got enough materials to make a bang bang controller for the reactor and built one when no one was looking. Reactor troubles gone. One of the other crew members had bought some plastic explosives and was trying to play football with it, which freaked everyone else out and they all started bullying him. Then after he ragequit, they started bullying Artie Doolittle. I tried to join in and lead him into the airlock and tried to end him by tossing him out (while in a suit). Someone dragged him back in. Later I decided to test something I saw in a video, and almost sank the sub after I slapped the wall with storage containers. I tried to murder Artie again, but people caught me and started attacking me. I did a hail mary and slammed into a wall with my storage containers and almost managed to get away by breaking out of the sub, but got knocked out and shortly killed moments later. When I respawned, I was hunted by them again. Thinking fast, I threw my nametag on Artie before cuffing myself. They beat me half to death and then tried to heal me but at that moment someone sabotaged the reactor and the lights went out and I pulled away and ran into the corner to die and respawn. In the meantime, someone had cuffed Artie for no reason and put a suit on him, which made it display my name. They all started beating him and when they took off the suit and saw his actual name they were super confused and the crew were fighting over if it was Artie or if it was me. They ended up murdering the innocent NPC. I was laughing so hard.
So, you made made my day 4 the 2nd time, bro. Its absolutely genius! And it was you - who wrote in my tread bout fps issues in barotrauma. Youre a great guy)
Glad you liked it and as for the FPS issues I think they're really working on fixing that now that it's become obvious it's a big problem. I've been out of the loop for a week since I was gone on a camping trip, but apparently they've fixed some of it and the unstable branch of the game should offer better performance. You may want to try it out! 💪
That's actually what I'm planning to do, but right now I am too busy to play regularly. I will most likely host regularly this fall, but may host a bit in august. In any case, the server name will always be "The Henk Family Madhouse".
