- After a long wait and doing many years of research Carol got to move into her van and now able to travel with her daughter, do what she loves to do and share all her cooking knowledge.

At Mark - How hard would it be for the rear bed and table to be done in two parts so the back half could be left as a bed/chaise side-to-side across the van while the front part was set as seating at the table - but it could later be lowered to complete the full bed?
Jareod thanks so much for the great interview and tour of my van. You really highlighted the artistic brilliance of Marc and how he turned my vision into a dream on wheels for me and my daughter. I didn't share it during the interview, but having a separate space for my daughter really was essential as being on the autism spectrum she really likes alone time sometimes. Marc understood this and was so thoughtful even in making a little nook for her with her own plug ins. He really is the best and so are you. Thanks again.

Incredible van build. So many are just cookie cutter. This one has wow to it. Love it.
I love this van! It's super smart but not over-produced. Too many gadgets and decor feels gimmicky. This van has Feng Shui! Very well thought out! Kudos!

Beautiful and innovative van. She's a gem with a lovely personality.
Putting a slight rounding off on the corners of the table and the countertops at the eating area will prevent repeated bruising. That’d get old quickly. I LOVE the way crisp edges look but I experienced a double corner squeeze in a Palomino Colt C-6 nearly 50 years ago. Fabulous build!
I thought the same thing as I bruised my thigh today against a sharp pointed edge. A slight rounding would make a big difference. What a beautiful build. I have seen many beautiful builds, but this one made me cry (happy tears, of course). Carole has made me a believer in dreams, again! Thanks to Mark, Carol, and Jarrod for this tour. The warmth shared really showed me how versatile the host, Jarrod, and the builder Mark could be! We are meeting all kinds of people that we don’t expect to meet and seeing their visions come to life. I’m glad I subscribed to Jarrod’s channel!!!
I love that pullout shelf for the water container,the water contaiers should have adaptable extended hoses for refilling and emptying.
The foldout table is amazing and so perfect for food prepping because you won't make a mess inside the van.

Wow Carol has had some wonderful objectives that have come to fruition in such a fantastic, innovative way - love this so much! Kudos to Carol for sharing her ideas and likewise to Mark, the builder, who was able to put those thoughts into reality. This van looks so roomy with clean and characterful features. Very impressive!
awesome build, i'm really looking forward to seeing it once she's decorated. the amount of utility packed into this van is incredible and it feels really generous in every way, including the amount of space thats left to move. very very nice work Mark!
small idea; i'd move the table leg forward a little bit and put two wings on it that fold onto the top. its an integrated place for the bed base board, a thicker table when folded, larger when unfolded so the front two seats have a space to host 6, a great lap table for one or both sides when rotated 90 degrees and lying on the benches, and an additional surface within reach of the kitchen (rotate a little to extend the left or the right counter and leave the other side wide open).
second small suggestion and easy change. in regard to the shower you talk about the sight line being open, but the curtain will change that to some extent. i also hate the way shower curtains stick to you.
i'd have the shower lid open to the left or right so the lid automatically closes that side when in use, and maybe leaving even more room the back of the shower.
the lid could even have another hinged board on it that closes the front side of the shower at 90 degrees, or folds a full 180 to create a partition between the two living spaces.
you just have to fold it down for line of sight when driving, but i think it has lots of advantages.
@@DMonZ1988 Hi DMonZ, Wow, thanks for the cool suggestions and giving so much thought to them. As far as the shower curtains, I don't plan to drive with the shower curtains down. The way they will fall will allow them to dry and be put back up so rhe cabinets can be closed while I drive.

@@DMonZ1988 You are coming close to how I envision my collapsible shower closet...slightly different but very close. Also, I would prefer to somehow not lose the overhead cabinet space when converting to allow for shower headroom...
Love that tri pull chair/bed, with a soft squishie backrest would be a fun chaise! Add a Lagun table for tablet or eating, fun place to relax! Enjoy your journey!

Just love the fact that three people can sleep in the van and that the water tanks have a sliding drawer. I will definitely have these two in my list.

No decorate first, grease fluids etc are hard to remove that's why it is finished before you live in it,, and now you mentioned the dog wow,, seal it first,, I comment as I watch 👍❤️🐕 great van tho beautiful

One of the most beautiful van builds I've seen. Ingenious design for the front bench bed! Love the fridge and separate freezer. I would rather have the fridge above the counter, Not sure if I'm crazy about bending down to see what is in the fridge. Really like the shower although I am fonder of a separate dedicated standing shower. Very clean wood work. Wonderful van, thanks for highlighting this build!

I feel you on not wanting to constantly bend down to get into the fridge. I did consider this, but in the end having more counter space won out. Based on the size of this side by side the best choice for my application was below counter. But above counter might work for other applications. That's the beauty of a custom build. Do what works for you.

Sweet. I want one. The lighting is nice and welcoming. The wood is light maple/ birch color. I would keep it just like it is.
I was thinking similar but I would like subtle paint on the bottom half, not too dark, and keep the top natural with a matte sealer to repel dirt and grease. Curtains and linens would pull it all together=:^)
The wall moulding is a beautiful touch.. don’t paint them different colours!
