Exactly, your readathon has to be bookish and beach related!! Summer would be fun❤ . So prompts....beach or water on the cover, Paradise setting, local author, set in your state, set in a state you haven't yet read this year, a fiction/nonfiction pairing, road trip, a lake setting, white cover, blue cover.....well, that should help you out!!

The new thing I’ve been seeing lately is read it or haul videos. Where you pick a book out that you own and you make a video about it whether you read it or un haul that book. I really enjoy those and I think it would be fun watching you have a reaction to that book.

Prompt ideas: A Book of the Month or part of a series. I read a lot less from September through December. I am a middle school special ed/math teacher. The beginning of the school year is busy so my reading slows down, but I catch up on school breaks.

What about a readatlon around camping and Riley Sager? Are you going to go though your books and do an unhaul so you don't continue to be bogged down with books you aren't interested in when you are using prompts? Krista 's (books and jams) shelf clean up and purge seemed like a manageable way to do it.

Oldest / newest book on your shelf. Top rated/ lowest rated book on Goodreads. Book tube besties book pick, best friend book pick, pick 2 or 3 books you want to read and have your students pick/ staff pick, blind choice pick ( put on a blindfold and point), channel followers pick out of two or three books. O.k I could sit here all day so I will stop!!

What a fun request! I love brainstorming. If you read multiple genres, how about a genre jar or genre spinner wheel?
For prompts that can be placed in a TBR jar, how about…
Read a Book That’s Been On Your Shelf the Longest
Read a Book with Your Favorite Color on the Cover
Read a Book Set in a Place You Want to Visit
Read a Book That Has Something to Do with Music (or Food or Animals, etc.)
Read a Book with Multiple POVs
Read a Book with Nature on the Cover
Hope that helps, Amber. Also, Lindsay and Sarah created a Roll Your Next Read Board for the Summer, and it had some good prompts. Best of luck with your project. 😊

This or That- You pick 2 books, then subscribers make the final choice of which one you are reading.

The oldest book on your shelf in years or longest on your shelf. Not your usual type of book. Next in a series you need to read. Or a first in a series. By a favorite author or by a new to you author. A one word title. A different country than you. Written by more than one author. What you would call a beach read. The longest title on your shelf.

Watch someone else’s TBR video and choose your books based on their prompts. I have done that twice now and enjoyed it.
