That's so cool seeing your Bourkes share a nest with your Zebras.
Yeah pretty crazy. The bourkes are so passive that they just let anyone move into their nest with them.
Great update Chris, so many baby chicks... well done. We are still waiting for our Stars to breed, they have a couple of trial runs, but not followed through yet... Thanks for sharing...
Hoping for the best. My two pairs have done several trial runs before they hatched out any chicks. Keep at it.
Another great video Chris! Congrats on all your success either way your birds!
Thanks a bunch!
Thanks for the video excellent!
Glad you liked it!
Great update!
Thanks!
Hello Christ. Taking about orange chick, I saw in a youtube from Spain , where the guy used tralis for plant in a tube shape, fill it up with weet and branches of pine tree, he put it on the wall and the bird make the nest between the branches. If you can cover the nest with more grass it will be better. And move the planter to anothet corner
Awesome thanks for sharing. I will do that.
Hi Chris,
Congrats on all your babies!
My female Gouldian Finch I’ve had for almost 4 years now, so I guess she is close to 5 years old.
Her wing feathers are sticking out and are not close to her body and they’ve been like this for a couple of weeks. She’s not fluffed up.
What is causing this and what can I do to help her?
Thanks
She may be molting. I’d probably need a picture of her to see
Your channels' blowing up 😮 nice intro music
Thanks man. I appreciate your support.
❤❤❤
Very cool. I would like to do something like this. How hot can they get in the summer. What if it's high 90s?
They can withstand temps above 100 degrees Fahrenheit as long as they have a cool place to retreat to from the sun and heat.
@@birdnerd so does it need AC or just shade and a birdbath
Where do you get the gouldian finch’s?
There are breeders throughout the U.S. I don’t have any available now but will next year. You can go on Facebook and ask if there’s any gouldian breeders in your local area or breeders that will ship these birds to you.
I have them and they breed in the aviary i feed them the normal diet eggs greens and so on but i dont give live food but they get live stuff from the floor because is hearth and compost all my birds do very well !try to put any material outside around the corner nest
Thanks for sharing.
Hey Chris, let me know if you want to re-home some euro society finches
Ok sounds good.
Brother ,what is normal day and night westher tempretature here in centigrade.
Not quite sure what you’re trying to ask
Hey how many buttons quail do you have in each section and how many males with hens
I try to keep it at a trio in each cage 1 male to 2 females. My one cage has 1 male to 3 females.
Все интересно излагает все понятно и просто #огонь
Thank you!

Good afternoon. I have a mixed colony of finches. Most have more than three pairs of each breed except my star finches of which I only have 1 pair. Would it be safe/ok to have just two pairs of one species In the same space? Or should I have more than 2 pairs?
It all depends on the space that you have available for the birds if you’re in a very large space then 3 pairs or more should be fine. It’s important to note that some species do well together with multiple pairs and other species do better with just one pair due to aggression or competition.
I'm in Utah too. Would love a bird buddy maybe to trade with or buy from.
Yes absolutely.
