Looks great for the price, I myself have a tentbox light 2.0 yes it's a little more expensive but, it's very well engineered and built from high quality materials. I've just returned from a trip to Lindisfarne on the North East coast, it never stopped raining for two days and with strong winds blowing over 30ks per hour, it really did show how well built it really is!
I gather it's for sleeping under the stars, but what of the condensation when all openings are closed up for rain cover/wind breaking? Has anyone defeated the wretched condensation talked about in some other reviews? If so, how? I really wanted to get one and still do, just need to hear solid problem solving.
I looked at this yesterday in the Go store. Still undecided between this and the new Tentbox lite 2.0 But given the wife won't go camping no more this is probably as much as I need for myself and the bike on the towbar. I was thinking about the Campal estate in car bed setup if my son wanted to come as well, two apartment on the cheap.
Funniest thing in this video - buddy has absolutely no idea what is called safe angle for the ladder, luckily no "expert campers" were harmed while filming :))))
Just got one from GO Outdoors for £595 - think I've got a bargain with the added 15% discount available this month.

Seen this today in Go outdoors and wanted it immediately :) Time to save.. Thanks for the review, I hope its holding out well for you
Do you have a blue light card/know someone who does? They offer discount, and it saves a lot :)
What are the dimensions when closed please?

Great video - how comfy is it for 2 people? Spacious or quite snug? Unsure whether to go for this or the tentbox lite for the extra space.
I would say say it’s perfectly fine for average sized people but for people on the larger side it would be tight.
Now down to 689£

What’s the wind noise like when driving?
It’s better than I thought it would be tbh
how long did it take to fold up again?
It takes around 2mins to fold up, it’s really easy.
What's room like for two people etc
It’s ok if you’re an average size person, probably a little tight if you are a larger person.
Why can you see the mattress from underneath. That must get wet if it heavy rain when driving.
It’s a second layer of foam which is waterproof so can’t go through to the actual mattress.
@@chrisandabbietravels Does the mattress stay in when its closed ? thanks
What car is it on bud?do you need roof bars first?
It was on a Seat Leon. Yes you do need roof bars 👍
That's a impressive bit of kit that didn't even have a clue they done a tent like that
Pretty awesome ain’t it 😀
What size of nuts did you buy.
Can’t remember sorry but you can measure the diameter of the bolts to get the size of nut you need.
2 man is not really true. It's a generous 1 man. I was hoping for a bit more room😢
Can you leave your bedding in there?
We haven’t tried leaving anything in there but could probably leave a duvet, not sure about pillows.
Tried it with my quilt today. Wouldn’t fit unfortunately but was worth a try lol
dont other campers laugh at you and also this makes you a sitting duck if done on the road?
We see quite a people using the same or similar roof tent. It’s cheaper than a caravan and slightly better than a tent on the floor 👍
right, but do you use it in random locations in non campsites?@@chrisandabbietravels
