Thanks for the review and info, I'm planning on purchasing the same setup! Glad to hear these hold up to the heat, humidity, and elements of the south.
We received this in the mail today! The packaging was fine, no damage during shipping thank goodness! The construction was very simple th-cam.com/users/postUgkxXH3jIpsn6vpr3D26KWAriUejh7CSxVp7 , the bottom rocking part and the ottoman were already put together for us which is nice!As for the actual quality, the wood seems fine.. Not too cheap but maybe not the quality you would find in a store for 400$. However, it is still sturdy and feels secure. I've only had it for one night, so of course no squeaking yet.. But if it does squeak it could be easily oiled. The cushions are comfy, and made of a suede like material. Obviously with time these cushions will probably wear and tear.. But for the price of the chair it is still worth it just to go out and buy new cushions that fit in the future.Overall I am very satisfied, I was a little worried after reading some reviews and looking through the photos, but I'm happy I bought it! Obviously it's not a heavy-duty chair, but with care I'm hoping it will last a while.
We're thrilled to see that you love our Adirondack chairs. Thank you for the support! We would love to send that cute pup in the background a POLYWOOD Pet Feeder. We will send you an email to connect.
Been considering making a purchase and this was so helpful! Thank you! Really appreciated you waited a year to make the video. So tired of buying outdoor furniture that only looks good for one season.
The only furniture to own if you live close to the coasts where corrosion is king. The fasteners they use simply do not corrode. The colors do not fade. I have left my polywood outdoors 100 yards from the Pacific ocean year round for seven years & all I ever need to do is wash it occasionally. I wouldn't waste money on anything else.
I just got them for these reasons…after only one use my armrest came off like it was stripped screws. I contacted them 4 days ago. No answer. Maybe I got fake ones from Amazon?
I’ve had POLYWOOD rockers for 3 years, stays out all year… still look great! So comfortable! I’m looking at the adonirack rocker, just wondering how low to the ground these are as far as comfort of getting in & out?
Great review, but I was hoping you'd have covered more brands. I'm actually considering the Duraweather line but while their chairs are beautiful, look sturdy and they have a great selection of colors-they are PRICEY. Nearly double of what the Costco brand are.
I really don't like the fact that you can see all of those screw holes. That makes the furniture look cheap and tacky. I wouldn't purchase this unless they figured out how to do away with all of those screws showing. Why haven't they put a little cap over the holes? Just makes it look junky looking.
Great chairs. Ended up buying the
Modern Curveback Adirondack Chair. Love them… easy to put together and seem like they will last forever. 😃

How is it holding up a year or more later?
Appreciate the clarity and simplicity of the review. I will now cash in my 401k thanks.
Glad it was helpful! and I feel your pain haha

Glad it was helpful! thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and for watching. Have you decided on a style/color?
Going with the modern Adirondack but can’t decided between straight back or curved back!
We have straight and I wish we have curved. Curved seems so much more comfortable 😂
@@BreakItYourself thank you! That really helps.. we are going to order the modern curved back!

Thanks for the review! Been considering these but I’m always skeptical of plastic, they look great.
We were skeptical too. So far so good!
Be careful in hot climates. My chair collapsed
Super helpful, you sold me on polywood.
Just bought one to test! Good review will buy more.
Still liking them? I'm thinking about picking up some.
Yep. They’re excellent. 💯

And here I am thinking polywood is expensive haha I’d never heard of Duraweather. They look very nice but that cost 😳😳😳
Awesome info .I'm looking to make my own adirondack chairs do you know where to purchase polywood material ?
Try Tangent Materials. I don’t think they sell to consumers but I remember seeing a link to a consumer store on their website at one time.
Bought 4 polywood chaises...can't put them together as parts don't have proper holes or slots for members.....stuck
Contact their customer support. They seem very responsive when I’ve contacted them.
Great !
Does it get hot in sun?
Yes, particularly black, green and other and dark colors.
comment to help out w/ the algorithms!
